played this on the beta version, yes its not finished but compared to most games that are out or in dev. this has almost no competition and i love it, i love how you can do flying changes, the jumps were really good everything just seemed so much fun. cant wait for the release of this game in the future :D

Slowly but firmly shaping up, good job! I'd hope to have maybe set up XC track with timer just like show jumping. And if some point the scenery would be maybe a bit more blueish and more lush foliage but overall looks beautiful and specially the Fjord is so recognizable! <3

We wanna see more gameplay and controls from the player perspective, even if it isn’t finalized visuals, we’ve learned our lesson with just customization screens! We wanna see what the game is about and the goals and the things we’d want to do other than ride semi-idly and do dressage. Whats our goal, what will we want to go after when we start the game and what keeps us coming back? What plans are there for this game? This is a cinematic trailer for a pre-alpha of a game I want a full version of, but we need proof to support it fully for fear of getting burned. Heaven knows that were hurting for a good horse game, it would be an easy sell if you make it good.

I bought Astride because I think that this time it should really be a game that will be available as a full version later and can be a lot of fun in multiplayer. There is no comparable horse game that is so lovingly designed and also includes multiplayer. I hope this game won't just be dropped at some point, like many other horse games that actually had potential. Keep it up, Astride team, you are on a very good path 👍❤

Saw this trailer come across my recommendations. I was hoping to see something less... English?... show-horsey? I don't know. I guess I was hoping for something that included working horses and not a game which appeals mainly to girls who want to play with Pretty Pretty Princess horses. *sigh*

@EquisetumGaming This game will be about training horses so i don't see why he couldn't like it if he'd like of train and breed kind of games..? There will be slider male type of character too. Besides the game is at pre-alpha state, there's literally everything still to be added to the game. They are aiming to also adding DLCs later with western for example, if that's more his liking. I agree there would be markets for totally different kind of horse games as well. But still I wouldn't judge the ending of the book when you've only read the first 2 pages.

@EquisetumGaming I mean, people are different, and they cannot please everyone with one game, but I'm sure they will wanna make the game work for wider audience. The aimed age range of the game is also wider and for older than horse games usually have.

@@littlehufflepuff9790 The trailer show a bunch of show jumping and dressage and a customization panel for coat colors/markings and gear. No breeding. No real training mechanic. (I've seen Red Dead mods that include more training mechanics than this.) So what's the point of this game? What is a player supposed to be working towards? Again, all I see is a semi-realistic version of a Pretty Pretty Princess horsey designer app.

I think this game needs a lot more polishing animation wise. The movements are too slow or robotic most of the time. They don't have real momentum. Jumps feeling like flying.I'm really hyped for this game the models and the world looks super great but pls the animation is the soul of the characters.

@@lexicallant1137 this game will never be free unless in the far future when it is completed it goes on one of steam's big 70% sales, which is as close as you'll get to free. If the game were to be free it would need to have in game advertisement and micro transactions like all the mobile horse games (except star stable for ads at least) do.
