I really hope this game will become what I read it would when I bought it.. but a real question.. don't you think your doing something wrong when this is as far as you have gotten in a year ? a bridle and saddle pad.. and have changed the world 3 times .. the first one was so perfect, now the quality just look cheap. I write this cause I care about the game, im not wanting to be rude but I have the right to be upset when I spent money on it, I bought an entire pc setup for that game because I was told it wouldn't work on Mac. but hope for the best always🌷

No they're not doing something wrong. Game development is a lengthy and tedious process of planning, making, figuring things out and scrapping even more. You can't release everything that's behind the scenes because you will have thousands of people complaining something isn't working 100%. stardew valley took over 4 years to develop and the guy still adds things because he said it wasn't done. These things take a lot of time, especially in such a small team. You can't rush this, be patient.

@@Julq4 "Stardew Valley took over 4 years to develop" - yeah, by a single developer as a passion project. Astride is a team game with funding, has been in development for AT LEAST 3 years, looks like a rough demo at best, and they already charged customers a decent price tag for the game.

@@Siocain yeah and here we have what 4 people? I don't know if you remember what stardew had when it released. Why do y'all always care about looks and not what's under the hood. If you want to play more comparisons rdr2 was developed over the course of 8 years with 1.5k people yeah the game is big but there is almost 400 times more people to develop it too. By buying a game in early access you accept the terms, if you can't read that's not on developers, sorry.

You bought an early access game not a full game. They work on a lot if you follow up in the discord. They can't add all to the game yet tho.

i have to say i was expecting a little more than this.. i've been supporting the game since i first heard about it and have been a patreon backer, i played the demo and was bored within minutes, i feel like this release isnt much better, the animations still look a bit glitchy, there is no real substance to gameplay.. there needs to be features added that actually make you want to play the game again and again.. I don't know much about game development but i thought the game would be further along than this...

Its eye watering how poorly developed this is over how long its been worked on. Ya'll put so much work into marketing and artwork but so little is actually implimented. Seriously i think you need to reevaluate your programmers.

I'm so happy I trusted my instincts and didn't buy this game. I genuinely feel bad for the people who wanted to be supportive, and paid for an over priced game with the faith and trust that it would eventually be worth it. Developers like these are the reason people don't want to invest in indie games.

Okay.. It's still in early access so I'll give it more time but my god the amount of hype built for this is embarrassing.. Hope to see this game be what it was always meant to be, otherwise im very disappointed.

I supported this game because it had personality and a good concept. Now it's just a shallow shell that looks worse than an asset flip. This development has been nothing but a downward spiral. The whole 'starting again bc of uni dots' is a pathetic excuse. Will ya'll start again every time some new tech comes out and scrap all the work you make off of public money? This team needs a serious reality check that they're making a product orders funded and that they do in fact, have to follow deadlines. It's wild how they've missed deadlines and completely ruined their game due to their own incompetence.

You will have to finish the show jumping and dressage courses. Each completed course gives you a tack item 🥰
