I started boxing(last year) at 20 and I'm 21 now i wanna go to the Olympics and get some professional fights and eventually become a coach . Im not interested in make money in boxing or taking it as a career and belts. I just want good experience Do you still work in retail or have any job that you do for money . Im not trying to leave Computer Science ??

I'm currently 18 years old, I only train boxing at home on a bag, and quite irregularly, but I like sports. I would like to sign up for classes and maybe fight a few fights in the future

This is what keeps me away from trying to fight professionally. You literally have to pay money to fight which is ridiculous. Seems like everyone makes money except the guys actually fighting and putting on the show. You risk breaking an arm or something worse that could financially ruin you. It's just not worth it. Makes you wonder how many great fighters are out there just working regular 9-5 jobs because it's just not worth it.
