@@RealEx3. Indeed. It seems Aer Lingus are confining their city routes to Dublin. It'll be interesting to see if KLM increases capacity, but many find their prices too high and will just use Dublin. I wonder if Ryanair is looking at doing the route now.

Nice view of the wing and clouds. But in all honesty that would be the view from any plane of any low cost carrier. I really don’t get BA and what it offers, certainly doesn’t offer punctuality

@@medorajoe7542 From my previous experiences, BA are not the most punctual or efficient. They could definitely take an example from their sibling in Madrid. All the IAG carriers seem to have these slimline seats except some newer BA neos. Thanks for stopping by!

@@FrecciaNeraM36 yes, Dublin T2. Flown many time and never once had the use of an air bridge. The East or West terminal. It’s a joke of a show for a so called legacy airline

@@medorajoe7542 I've only ever used those gates once. During the day, the terminal is packed with transatlantic carriers but in the mornings and evenings it's more likely you'll get an airbridge.

I used to fly to Berlin Tegel in the 90s; there was a fast connection Spl-Groningen Airport Eelde v.v. (thirty minutes' flight) and by care to Eelde was approx thirty minutes too, so it only took 2 1/2 hour from my house in the Netherlands to/from Berlin! good memories; always KLM flights. sometimes I took the Berlin intercity; also good!

Is the flight time really 1.5 hours? Because in Düsseldorf, for example, it is 11 am, in Dublin it is 10 am, so I think the flight is 2.5 hours.

Great trip report, well done. Totally agree on the seat change, it's crazy you were moved so far back, especially when most airlines, vueling included, charge a good bit extra for front row seats when booking!

I wonder if the Enterprise locos are in a common pool with NIR as this one proves they can end up well off route at times.In fact a few years back i think that I saw one pulling a freight train near Drogheda way.

@@kevanhubbard9673 NIR own two of the locomotives and the rest belong to Irish Rail. The enterprise locos and a few of the others are fitted with TPWS/AWS signalling for Northern Ireland operations. Sometimes they are used for Cork and freight duties when they're not used to Belfast. Thanks for watching!

@@AVGEEK.2011 I don't remember that being the case. I had to ring Aer Lingus in advance to select my seat. It's possible that the desks might be able to do that. Asides from that, no problems and it only took a minute or two. Would've liked if I could've checked in online.
