Hey Brandon are most visors u just pull the screws off and there off same with the center concil new to taking car parts apart
@brandon585319 күн бұрын
Sunvisors are usually pretty easy few Phillips or torx screws they’re out, and center console lids are easy on older cars just a few screws but newer cars and foreign cars can be quite complicated, I left a console lid for an Audi a while back because too much was involved to remove it in one piece

@brandon5853Ай бұрын
Thanks, and it definitely depends on the year and model of the vehicle the ceiling light unit can be worth grabbing from any car if it’s new enough or old enough / in Demand, the 2000s 2010s American cars have pretty low value interior parts so I pass on a lot of fords dodge and GM but do well with Toyota Volvo Honda Nissan etc.. new video coming soon with some different vehicles

Thanks glad to hear it, and I usually charge $45, but for the bigger ones it may cost closer to $70 to ship , get a Canada post small business account for free if you don’t already it will give you a discounted rate , you can get a cost estimate through the Canada post website once you’ve decided what box you are going to use to ship
@frankhoward76453 ай бұрын
0:37. Why do you keep calling them bolts? They're nuts! Also, I understand you clip the wires because it's faster than disconnecting the plug, but is it really faster? The pig tail left on the part just makes it more difficult to ship and the buyer will disconnect it and throw it away, meanwhile some who had fried their wiring will be disappointed to see that the wiring in the car has been clipped. Other than that, good job posting this video. I really enjoyed watching it.
@brandon585329 күн бұрын
lol yes they’re nuts, my bad ,and cutting the wires are for sure faster but I understand your point, I’ve been unplugging recently, and if someone messages looking for the pigtail then I’ll cut it, these cars get crushed pretty quick here so I don’t feel bad about the wires I’ve cut or anything else because sometimes the 1 or 2 parts I take is all that gets saved before being crushed

Over the past 2 years I’ve sold over 30 car parts, they are not easy to source , I’ve sold lights, front grills, sun visors and lots more, just because I haven’t sold thousands of parts doesn’t mean I don’t know what I’m talking about, unfortunately I live in a small town with just 1 public junkyard, if I was able to source more items you would see more items sold, you are only looking at the past 90 days in sales, if you seen every car part I ever sold you may have more respect but I understand that most people are intimidated by selling online, and may not understand others strategies, I only buy in demand parts that I know are going to sell quick, I could easily have thousands of car part sales if I bought every item and waited months for them to sell but having just high profit items makes it more worth my while, I do not do this as a full time and I also do not have room currently for storage for hundreds of car parts but I’d love to keep growing and expanding what I do when it comes to selling online, and comments like this only encourage me to keep going, Thanks - Brandon

How do you know what years a part is good for

If I’m looking at a 2006 Toyota Tacoma glove box I’ll look up on eBay 2006 Toyota Tacoma glove box and sort by lowest price when I see one the same it will tell me the year range I believe 2005-2015 for that Tacoma
@steveherr4503 ай бұрын
Some parts i look it up at rockauto and then hit the highlighted part number and it will tell me what other model and year range it fits. i just found out a part i need for my chevy impala is also on a buick regal i already have in my backyard that is t-boned. if you know one year it fits like when you take something off at a yard then you can look up that year vehicle, find the part and click the part number and it gives you what else it fits.

So when u research parts for a specific vehicle say 2010 Tacoma glovebox I’ll see what my competitors on eBay have listed and they will have the range of years suitable in their listing which is 2005-2015 for that item also most parts have a part number which will also link you to the OEM part on the car manufacturers parts site

As Brandon mention you can look what other sellers have it listed to fit but i like going to like rockauto and look up the part for the vehicle i took it out of then just hitting the highlighted part number and they will tell you what it all fits plus the year range. i like this better because the other sellers i have found can be wrong just copying someone else that thought they knew what it all fits where the auto parts store gets it right 99.9% of the time. Plus i buy liquidation pallets and sometimes i only get a part number and don't even know what vehicle to even start with so i can just import the part number over at rockauto and it just pops up what it all fits if they sell that part, sometimes they don't.
