OSU struggling in the run game is basically limited to the Nebraska game by comparison for leading rushers: Quinshon Judkins 6.4 yds per carry (81) to Kaytron Allen 5 yds per carry (101) even the second rushers: Treyveon Henderson 7.2 Yds per Carry (62) to Nick Singleton at 6.4 yds per carry (75) Yall have had 33 more carries with those 2 backs and only 23 more yards all that is even with a nothing game last week with a left tackle whiffing 12 times and having the worst grade in the Big 10 Running game aside. Only the second time this year Warren has gone over 5 receptions and 50 yards, with the first being against Bowling Green. I wouldn't say the offense has become overly dependent on him, at least not yet. There was an obvious point of emphasis to get him the ball this week specifically, I believe and hope that's all it was rather than an over-the-top dependence

I disagree with you about the defense!!! They didn't play their best game of course, but look at how many times they stopped USC, especially when Drew threw the 2 picks that were returned deep into Nittany Lions 🦁 territory!!! You are halfway right, we do need to tighten up the defense, but with a new DC and a bye week and chance to clean up some things and get some rest and players healthy, I think we are still sitting pretty damn well, if you have watched all the upsets this year, we just keep winning 🙏!!! This is a Penn State football podcast. You shouldn't be drink A beer, you should be doing keg stands. For home games we would roundhouse bottles of Popov's vodka and Tequila Zapata at the tailgate and then go to the G-Man after the game and play credit card bingo while drinking mind erasers. In the first half the receivers really let our team down. Everybody was dropping the ball except for Tyler Warren. But the receivers eventually came through in the second half.

It’s still a good defense just not top 5 in the country like the last 2 years. If you look back at 2016-2017 this defense is still miles ahead of what we had then.

Totally agree with your statement about getting too cute with the play calling. So many times a Beau Pribula comes in at QB, kills the rhythm of the offense when it's already humming on a drive. Still love the new offense, but we've gone from no creativity to an insane amount that's sometimes too much.
