Holy shit this worked on my tuf 3070. I was stuck on god of war ragnarok using medium to high settings using dlss to quality or balanced if i wanted more frames. My temps would ramp up a bit over 80 too. It was so bothersome to have this sound like a engine After undervolting i was running 1440p at native dlss at ultra settings. Im running at 100 frames. If i set the dlss to quality id get 120 or 144 frames if i use frame generation. The cherry ontop all this is using lossless scaling aswell. The temp never go 80 and they stay around 60. This is godsend

wait, i have b760 plus wifi motherboard. PL1 and PL2 are basically written as Long Duration and Short Duration power package power limit which automatically are set to 65 watt and 148 watt respectively. Can i really tweak it up to 250 watt?

i was getting temps around 90 with intensive games, now it levels out around 65 with this voltage! Seems fine so far & if there's a performance hit, I didn't notice it

Hi! So I built a mitx pc for my living room and the case had space for extra fans so I loaded it up.. but.. this machine sounds like it’s about to take off! The sound didn’t bother me too much at first because I cranked -up the surround sound but my gf found it all too much so I decided to go back to basics… I tried downloading various fan controllers softwares to tame the noise but I soon realised I had no clue how to fix the speeds…. Anyhoo long story even longer I decided yesterday to remove all case fans and run stock to see how this build runs using the low pro cpu cooler and no additional fans near the Rtx 3080ti. Well the machine is quieter now the case fans are gone but the gpu is still loud…. This had me thinking about buying a 4080 super because I heard it runs cooler and quieter, but, the 3080ti is playing everything I throw at it so figured I just need to tame it… that’s when I found your channel 👍 Can you give me a guide to how to tune my system… I.e…. What should I tune first? CPU then ram the gpu? I figure that given I have a mitx build I should go for an under volt tune of the cpu and gpu and OC my ram? CPU is Ryzen 7800x3d, gpu rtx 3080 ti, Corsair 750 psu, ddr5 ram… Do you know if it’s possible to add bigger heat sink to the 3080? Do you think water cooling could be the answer? Or should I just get a larger case and buy the 4080? Kinda curious to know what these parts can do if tuned properly and whether the performance take too much of a hit.

I just bought Zotac RTX 4070 Ti SUPER GAMING SOLID and I`m very happy. Overclocks well, max power consumption is 333W so i guess the card its build well. After OC I get stable 3090 MHz clock and 1563 MHz memory.

Just bcs the card was used for mining doesn't mean it's about to die. All you have to do is replace all the thermal paste and pads and you are good to go.

I have an issue with my pc for the past few weeks. 9800x3d with x870e hero and a 32gb kit of gskill 6000 cl30 which ran fine with the cpu set in bios with a negative curve optimizer of 30 on all cores a platform thermal throttle limit of 85 and PPT to 85 also. I had no issues with this nice temps and good performance i suppose but few weeks ago i started seeing some crashes in games to the point when the gpu driver was not even detected anymore. Had many BSOD and i've noticed that if i turn off XMP everything is fine. I am completly lost and I don't know what I should do since I've tried to check the RAM one by one with expo and tests were good, but when they are together and expo is enabled, i cant even get into windows anymore. Tested with stock cpu settings in BIOS and only expo enebled and same thing happens... Have you ever seen this before or do you know what i could do?

Thank you! For some reason, when I adjust the curve optimizer and set it to all cores negative -20 or -10 I always get an error after 10min in OCCT when testing the CPU. I lowered Dynamic Vcore(DVID) -120 I don't know if this also helps in performance but it does keep my temperatures on the lower side (72 degrees with no erros in OCCT) What program do you use for testing?

I would definitely evaluate this product which in my opinion is the right compromise between play and productivity also because I play at 4K only triple aaa I don't need FPS at all costs so i don't care about 7800x3d or 9800x3d. I'll wait to see what AMD does with the 9900 x 3D which they should announce in a week at ces which will have the huge advantage of allowing overclocking with pbo even on the first ccd I like the double ccd solution because I assign the first one to video games while the second one puts the strain on all other Windows processes and programs using process lasso. I hope that with the Pbo we can get to 5.6 5.7 GHz on the first CCD

Hello brother, i have the same laptop asus tuf dash f15 (i7 12gen rtx 3070). When i followed your instructions i noticed my gpu mhz is stuck at 780 mHz while ypurs is minimum 1400mHz. How to fix this? My temperature is higher than yours too at 88 degree C

Honestly, amazing info. Thank you. Lowering my power limits by only a few watts cut my performance by only about 5% in Cinebench R23, but lowered my temps by 30c on my 13900k. Instead of thermal throttling at 99c, I'm now running about 60-65c but still scoring 34k in R23. I can't believe the difference in my case outputting heat either. The fans are no longer ramping way up in speed and my system is so quiet now! 🙏

I applied the safe settings to my RX6700xt and it crash as soon as I ran Heaven, is my GPU a bad one? It's stable when left stock but I did buy it used so it may be half dead lol

Did you have to update that BIOS before it let you run that CPU? I'm going to build a PC with this CPU, but every compatibility checker says you may need to update the BIOS to run this CPU. That sounds like a pain, I'd prefer something plug-and-play. & Did you every try this CPU on a B650? Did you need to update that?

When I try the dynamic undervolt with -20 it increases my temps and lowers performance, when I try the static with 54 and 1.225 or 1.25 it crashes the second I run my benchmark. Nothing works for me what should I do?
