man, i went from 40k at cinebench r 23, to 43k! Temperatures (before undervolt) was 88C. Now, is 81.1C. Thanks a lot for this video!

Nice video, second useful for me after 4090 undervolt. Have you tried using Curve Shaper to squeeze extra performance?

Can you define the good cooler? I need your recommendation for 9950X
@kevinsxntamaria13 күн бұрын
Looking forward to the 9900X! PS. I ran my CPU at 1.255V and my PC got up to 93C and shut off. I just have it at default right now. Running well. Still doing some research on what GPU to go with since I don't want to break the bank.

Won't work with 9900x, any offset I put on it crashes the system.

Thanks!, another great video!. I have some question... my 9950x at 5.0 ghz with 1.1v works rock solid with awesome temps.. also at 5.2 with 1.215v, but temperatures goes a little bit high with my fan profile (I really like my PC to be dead silent)... so, you have any recomendation for 5.1 ghz (just for a bit extra performance)

Great video! I was wondering why my stock 9950x is 95C on average at multicore test in cinebench while I've seen reviews with 80-85C maximum. Cooler seems to work fine as idle temperatures are 40-45C. Is it normal?

what are your pbo settings and what cooler do you use?
@aleixhernandez629Ай бұрын
@@gouden88 PBO is on auto in BIOS, haven't enabled it yet. Those temps are from stock. Cooler is Arctic Liquid Freezer II 280mm.

Is it applicable to Ryzen 9 9900X? Does one need to disable precision boost first to set manual static cpu frequency?

What would a negative CO setting be considered a golden chip? For reference: my first 7900x was stable at -30 CO. My second 7900x was stable at -10 CO. (I broke my first sample). My new 9900x is stable at -43 CO. More than likely its only stable at -40 CO. -45 crashes towards end of Cinebench 20. -44 finishes but with lower score than -40. -43 has slightly higher score than -40. Personally I think -40 is my wall. Is PBO CO meant to go further than -40?

I got my 9950x about 3 weeks ago and have been tweaking it this whole time. I have 96GB Dominator Platinum DDR 6400MHZ which I dropped to 6000 so it runs 1:1 with the infinity fabric. My board gives a silicon quality rating. Mine is 114/150 which I think is pretty good. It handles all sorts of wild high and low settings without crashing. My memory is more fiddly however. Id love to adjust the timings but Ive been struggling to find any info online on tighter timings that ive found are stable Anyway, I started with -30 Curve and that was a big boost. After a lot of messing abiut I managed a 46,200 on R23. But its cureently hanging around 43,000 and Im not sure why. Im going to try your guide now and Ill let you know how it goes I have an Asus Crosshair Hero x879e which Inthoughtvwas a pretty high end board, but it doesnt see to have all these options... Or theyre labelled differently - Results from following this video.. (Nore: I found all the correct settings or the equivalent for my ASUS board) Like I said, I think Ive got a decent chunk of silicon. It handles all the lowest or highest options perfectly stable. I set the lower voltage and the 52x ratio. I dont have a graphics card, this is a workstation, so I went with static config over dynamic/gaming Result : R23 is about the same (43,000) Temp: 15C lower max while benchmarking!! The fans didnt even spin up to maximum. Thats a great result.. Idle Temps are 43C (10-15C lower!!) But.. I run wallapaper engine and when it booted into Windows it was running at 5FPS rather than its usual 60+. Does undervolting affect the iGFX? Its pegged at 100% and is crippled? Other question... can you mix your Static profile with Curve Nevative -30 options? What would happen?
