It's a nice house but I never understand developers making a utility room that doesn't fit both a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Hence them having to have the tumble dryer out in the kitchen. Lovely decor, gorgeous garden but as Andrea says, "not my dream house yet".

Decor is pretty grim, front garden needs jet washing and rear garden is a disappointment but it is still good value for money and would make a lovely home.

No updating required, and the integrated kitchen appliances come with the place. The utility room is small but convenient. The rear garden is well tended, and perhaps the vendor would allow a few of the many potted plants go with the property.

Low maintenance is understandably common for rental properties, though plastic grass isn't my style. The location looks quiet. Replacing the bathroom fan and flooring would make a better impression.

Urgh, Norfolk? Those awful wheelie bins everywhere and low maintenace garden means gravel. £850 seems excessive. Still, if you are desperate...move to Norfolk!

As soon as you open the door, you have coats and bags in your face, a table blocking your path, with a shelf at eye level above it. Not a welcoming hallway!!!

It's tucked away in what appears to be a quiet location. I presume the parking is available in the open area out front. The entrance hall and rear lobby are helpful so you don't enter directly into a room. Alas, the dining area is not adjacent to the kitchen! The bathroom looks recently remodeled.

Very nice and surprisingly spacious house! I couldn't see much in the way of parking, although I think there was maybe one space out the front?

A truly darling property except for the lack of storage in the kitchen, especially as one would have to remove several of the few existng cupboards to make room for a proper refrigerator. Nevertheless, the rest of the house with all its charming eccentricities, and adorable back garden make up for most shortcomings such as only 1 bathroom with no tub. I can certainly see a single person or even a couple happily living in this house. Surely the smaller building in the backyard was originally an outhouse as I would imagine indoor plumbing was a comparatively recent addition.

Very unusual.

I'm confused about a couple of things. First of all, I didn't notice a refrigerator in the kitchen, although occasionally I have seen homes apparently making do with bar fridges so maybe there was something under the counter. How would a a couple or family manage however with just a dormitory size fridge and possibly separate bar freezer... it would be impossible. The other thing which I always find odd, and not just with British properties, is why there is almost never a sink in with the toilet (when that is in a separate room). Surely that is the most likely of all places that you are going to want to wash your hands, and although a sink in the tub/shower room is extremely useful, if I had to pick one... I would want it with my toilet. Nonetheless I enjoyed your tour as I always do. You are beginning to feel like an old friend.

Some negatives which were not included. ' Easy maintenance ' awful shingle for a start. Next you have a load of fitted furniture in the bedrooms that you probably don't want. Then there's no flow to the property narrow hallways leading to the ill sited rooms. Two bathrooms but no bath even though there would have been space for one .Oh and the fully glazed roof in the conservatory which is the last thing you want in the summer unless you want to bake yourself with all that glass ! Not a very desirable property really .

It’s really beautiful and the garden is lovely too. That original back door looks like it would be a problem in the winter though!

The house is, indeed, full of character, and if I were to do any updating I would not want to change that! The rear garden also has lots of antique charm. I presume that the house sits directly on London Street with no front garden, but it would be a only short walk to shops and village amenities. This would work well for a couple who appreciate a bit of English history in a convenient location.

That’s beautiful house if I could afford to buy a house I would buy that love the garden would need to put a new bathroom in new internal doors new front door and back door and maybe new kitchen but definitely worth it. What a lovely property. And love the size of the garden.

About as dull and boring outside as it can get and not a lot better inside…..no imagination or taste….lots of space but not a scrap of wow factor !

Although the shingle front garden and the house style aren't my favorite, the place has a neat appearance. It has been updated, and the lounge/diner is large. With four bedrooms upstairs, the smallest might be converted to a second bath if desired. The back garden has a lot of established plants and is quite private.

That’s a nice property and a good price too. A bit different if you want the same thing down in Sussex!

I've seen a few houses Gary has presented, from dilapidated olds with great potential to expensive new but ostentatious & lovely little houses that might not look good on the outside but are superb gems & there's this. Was probably the most challenging he's done. Enjoy! Regards Claire

Beautiful property

To have such a large, relatively private garden just a five minute walk into town gets lots of points from me! The house is dated but apparently well cared for, so one might move right in and deal with remodeling one room at a time. The large lounge and conservatory provide plenty of living space.

I live in the south of the UK so compared to here, that is a lot of house for the money and very nicely presented.

Its a really nice property, but there are 2 problems with it, 1 its in Watton which I am sure its reflected on the price and 2 unless you are walking everywhere, you basically have to enter through the garden and french doors all the time.
