Fatima did not seem like she couldn't get back into the house. In that scene the rotten food is nearby, and the wind is blowing, making the scent even easier to detect, not to mention that pregnant women are like bloodhounds sometimes due to their heightened sense of smell. She got a whiff of those rotten veggies and they stimulated her appetite. I think that theory is a bit of a stretch. Even if this baby does make it to term, I have always thought about it in extremes: It would either be a miraculous messiah type baby like Jesus who will lead the people home and break the cycle once and for all, or it will be an abomination created by this place to further its sinister agenda. It's starting to look like the latter so far IF it lives.

What if whenever you see the tree in the road and you stop. What happens if you was to move the tree some way. Would that be a way to avoid going into fromeville

There are theories that the monsters are like the Irish folklore fae called Sluagh. You might have addressed this but I haven't gotten that far into the video yet.

It’s so obvious. This is obviously the IT sequel series. All the monsters are ITs. They kill all but one. He becomes the IT we know. He’s already in Maine.

My theory relates to mothers/ mother figures. I think the entity that resides in Fromville (ie, “the nightmare”) sees mothers as either a threat and/or a tool to be used. Mothers in this town are purposefully targeted. Tabitha and Victor’s mom were “chosen” to rescue the kids/town. Tian Chen is killed because “it” is trying to break not just Boyd, but the town’s spirit. Ellis’s mom ultimately fed into fear/darkness/ lost hope. Tilly knows more than she lets on, and says she had 7 grandchildren (possibly the “anchooy children?”); the phantom banshee is most likely the mother to those very children. And now we have Fatima who will most likely give birth to a nightmare. Motherhood is a prevailing and connected device in this series. The evil entity seems to be targeting mothers because it perceives them as an ultimate threat. Other theories: the man in yellow is the architect or possibly the “adult” version of the boy in white. Also note how all of the “good” spirits have been in white, namely children. I think Tabitha will have to find a way to save the “anchooy children” while in the real-world. Although I hope she is able to return to Fromville (with Victor’s dad) in a big rig full of supplies (including weapons). Lol.

I'm wondering if we are heading towards Lovecraft country with the man in the yellow suit being the big bad! Hastur aka The King in Yellow is an interdimensional being associated with dreams/nightmares, he has a talisman that has a symbol on it and once viewed becomes an obsession, and he resides by the black Lake of Holly that is a portal to another dimension! He is part of the mythos of the great old ones who come from space..so star magic motel anyone???

After watching the promo for episode 3, there is a very, very quick flash of Jade with his right eye blank but slightly glowing, there are darkened hands on his shoulder. One of the hands has long sharp fingernails. The boy in white is behind him with two wolves surrounding him. Jade is by the bottle tree. Know who else was missing their right eye? Odin. Gave it up for knowledge. Jade looks like he's in a trance. I still think this show has something to do with Norse and American Native deities.

So if this has been going on since civil war days, what, the forest provides? There used to not be electricity, indoor plumbing etc then time progressed and boom, the forest provides? Here's a brief description of Lamashtu - She bore seven names and was described as seven witches in incantations. Her evil deeds included (but were not limited to): slaying children, unborns, and neonates; causing harm to mothers and expectant mothers; eating men and drinking their blood; disturbing sleep; bringing nightmares; killing foliage; infesting rivers and lakes; and being a bringer of disease, sickness, and death. On top of that a household could ward her off by using a talisman representing a rival deity. In Mesopotamian mythology it was Pazuzu. Maybe, the man who was chained up and saved Boyd WAS that rival deity that was trapped and may explain why the parasite was able to kill smiley.

So here’s some things I was thinking about. If Victors mother drew what she saw before she ever went to From. Was she drawing other people’s visions from their prospective? The drawing of the civil war soldier was an exact replica of what only Jade saw. Could the guy in the yellow suit be the man that jade saw in the cellar crushed by the rock? Also, why doesn’t Victors father mention his daughter that is missing as well, that was odd to me

I thought the lake was always there from the first o episode where Fatima takes Julie to a spot near the lake and they are playing in the water. It’s a dock that turns the curve and I figured that it leads to the lake.

they had a teenager approach julie in the episode they ran to colony house when they 1st got there. they appeared to be the same age. when he said don’t you recognize me and she looked at him strange i thought for a second it was a mature Thomas. other than him, no kids.

Fatima is absolutely going to turn into a monster. Remember when Fatima looked into the mirror right after her tooth fell out and she had blood on her mouth…. It’s the same mirror that the girl monster (who got the flowers) looked into when she cleaned the blood off her collar. That’s was a lil foreshadowing bout Fatima turning into a monster 👿

The only pregnancy test they gave to Fatima was based on hormones in your body - but, maybe her hormones are elevated because she is transforming into a monster, not growing a baby. A baby in FROMville would be crazy - there is no one else who has ever gotten pregnant, despite lots of unprotected sex in Colony house shown in Season 1. There is no way they have condoms or birth control pills in FROMland.

I’m team fairy. Anghkooey is translated to Ankou which is a Celtic fairy. They are tricksters and gain pleasure in cause pain. -Side note- I think the children are being used to keep FromVille hidden and keep the Ankou from escaping.

I figured out what story from is close to. It’s gonna blow your mind. The answer is one we all know. WIZARD OF OZ. But horror. Dorthy gets taken to a different place after an event (tree in the road/ tornado). In the story she meets characters that are looking for something they already have. One looking for courage (Kenny), one looking for a heart, one a brain, and she just wants to go back home. She can go back home anytime. White witch guides her down the yellow brick road (boy in white guding and yellow being a theme). Evil witch that has flying monkeys (birds/ ravens). 🐦‍⬛ In the end someone is pulling the strings and that person is someone she interacted with in the beginning. I can go on and on but I think you get the point. The story is just a modern horror wizard of Oz with extras to make it an intriguing tv show.
