I heard a theory that this all might be some kind of cycle, and that makes sense to me based on the changes happening and Victor’s comments on those changes, “it’s happening again” etc. and based on the dates in the cave in seems like the cycle lasts 9 years. And I think the monsters are all the people that died in previous cycles, and that’s their punishment (more of it?) for not being able to break the cycle. Given that there have been more chosen people meant to free the children like Henry says-the cycle thing makes a lot of sense. I also wonder if there have been 7 cycles bc there’s 7 of those strange kids. If those kids were from people who had a kid in the town, then Fatima’s kid might become the 8th. Also wanted to add an edit to say that Tully (not sure if that’s her name, but the woman who danced in the rain when the bus stopped in the town) told Elgin that she has 7 grandchildren while she was sitting next to him last episode. Could mean something. I do think the baby might be some rosemary’s baby type thing. This sounds dumb but it kind reminded me of Twilight when Bella got pregnant while still human and drinking blood was the only thing that made her feel better. So I do think the baby is something connected to the monsters.

They don't need to capture a FROMite, they need to sit Victor's ass down & ask him some questions! They should be having like a weekly town meeting for everyone to bring any information forward.

@@Stephaniefarrah The town should have an archive of information written down. They're not thinking. They should have town meetings to exchange Intel, theories and strange occurrences that they've noticed to try to connect the dots.

@@ItCanGoLeft that part I have always been confused on. It should be mandatory to have weekly townhalls, everone eats together for protection and inhibits hording of resources. There absolutely should be some kind of records hall we're all newbies are brought up to speed for everyone's else's protection. Newbies have gotten people killed. Also people should sleep in shifts - 2 always awake to watch / record what happens and prevent another colony house massacre. People not sharing what they know is so dangerous. The writers know this is an obvious thing I'm hoping it's explained this season. 🤞🏼 Starting better this season 🥳

@@Larisa_Baker yes I also read that rotten fruit is an omen brought on meaning bad things for relationships and can even be a sign of sexual deviation such as things like Fatima and Ellis being quite open in their relationship with kissing other people and stuff and can even be a sign of infidelity

I think Fatima's baby isn't gonna be a good sign like the anghkooey kids. I feel that maybe the evil made the crops die not only to mess with the people in the town but to help feed Fatima's baby. She wasn't able to eat any real food but all of a sudden has a deep hunger for that rotten food??? Also may be me and have to go rewatch the scene but it almost looked like she was unable to get into the house? Is she slowly becoming or birthing one of these monster creatures?? Is this a way they're able to be made?? Also so messed up the radio started playing Celebration, they do Kenny so dirty 😔

That wet woman Eljin sees resembles a Japanese Yokai: the Ame Onna. Which translates to 'rain woman". She summons rain & always appears wet, while she steals newborn girls spiriting them away to another world. Sometimes, the mothers who've had children stolen transform into an Ame Onna themselves. Perhaps they tweaked the lore & had it steal Fatima's baby while inside her & she's going through the transformation rather than a pregnancy.

I got a theory on Fatima to. The town is trying to break Boyd primarily that’s what they stated. It’s becoming apparent that the only way Boyd will be broken is if his son dies since him killing his own wife didn’t even break him. So I feel like Fatima because of this demon baby in her will turn into one of the creatures and end up killing Boyd’s son or at least try to an not succeed

Well Boyd had to kill the wifey as she lost her mind going on a shooting rampage. You can bet if there's a pregnancy that we're going to get a Rosemary's baby situation. It's like in Alien Romulus you just know something bad is going to happen to the pregnant girl. This is no ordinary fetus for Fatima but she doesn't know it yet.

Could Lost and From exist in the same universe? It's possible to consider this, as both shows revolve around characters trapped in mysterious, isolated locations where strange events occur. The difference lies in their settings: Lost takes place on an island, while From unfolds inland. Despite this, the shared elements of supernatural phenomena and a group of people trying to survive suggest there could be some overlap in their universes.

I like the idea people have been sharing you get rewards for going into the woods. It's a good vs bad big picture imo. Since Tabitha got out of the town, the town is angry, and it's doing everything it can, like changing the seasons, spoiling the food. Really getting the town going into a panic. Then think of when something happens to punish the town something positive also comes with it. They just have to find it. Them saying Fatima been having these problems for 3-4 days ties with everything going on. They should not be using those rotten vegetables for anything, those don't look like veggies that over or under grown, it's like an outside source tanted them. And with Fatima craving those rotten foods this is not going to be a normal baby, maybe the first signs the baby isn't going to make it.

The cabins that Jim and Kenny found in the woods are surrounded by those totems. If the theory is correct that these totems are similar to the totems that are hung inside houses, perhaps they protect and outside area. It would make sense then, that the crops would grow inside that area. BTW, hate the bit about the paintings because it reminds me of Under the Dome. However, given all the details that he tells Tabitha, I don't understand why he didn't believe her earlier. He knew there was a place that you could stumble into and never leave. That's exactly what she was telling him!

I believe Elgin’s nightmare lady has something to do with Fatima. I have to go back and watch, but I believe ever since Elgin arrived in town he’s had a strange tie to Fatima somehow; no, I do not believe he’s Fatima’s kid, but I believe subconsciously he’s aware of something being wrong with Fatima.

It was the talisman that didn't let Fatima open the door in colony house! I just rewached that scene, and you can clearly see that the other lady talking with Fatima, can easily open the door when she leaves Fatima (eating rotten crops) !! Either Fatima is turning into a monster, or her baby is a monster, all I know is the talisman didn't let Fatima open the door. 👀

I don’t think Tabitha is in the real world… The only bit of identification that was found on Tabitha was the lunchbox - yet neither the hospital nor the police open it up whilst she’s unconscious and visit the address inside. The nurse very obviously tells the doctor that the police are on their way in front of Tabitha, and the doctor then leaves the room, deliberately giving Tabitha a chance to ‘escape’. The priest Tabitha speaks to knows she had a son who died, even though she only said it was a child. He then encourages her to open the lunchbox and find the address. The boy in white is there. Victor’s dad arrives in his car right as Tabitha is knocking at the door. (Very Truman Show) Apparently, she faints on the doorstep - but we don’t see this on screen. Rather than calling for an ambulance when she faints, Henry puts her on the sofa. Henry says he called the police but then goes right to sleep. Very odd. The website showing the missing Matthews family could be fake? When Tabitha mentions looking for other names, Henry just ignores her. Maybe ‘They’ haven’t set up fake sites for anyone else? The pictures that Victor’s mother drew 40 or 50 years earlier haven’t shown any sign of ageing and almost all of them are exact images of things Tabitha has seen. Henry seems to be using the misdirection technique of making Tabitha think she needs to prove herself to him, when in fact he’s the one doing the scamming. It seems like everybody in this ‘world’ is an actor, just there for Tabitha. This would be backed up by the foreshadowing in Season 1 when Jade thinks he’s in an escape room and everybody is there just for him. The only thing which doesn’t fit into this theory is Tabitha’s call to her mum. But episode two ends with a phone call from ‘Thomas’ and other fake voices are used by the monsters. Having just come out of a coma, being in a panic and on a busy street, would Tabitha necessarily notice if her mum’s voice wasn’t quite perfect?

I REALLY want to believe Tabitha is back in the real world, and I hope that she is. But the scene with the priest was very unnerving. He spoke to her as if he knew about Thomas' death. And there was something about the way he looked at her. How could he even know about Thomas if Tabitha is in Camden, Maine and their family is not from there? Did he recognize her maybe from the news or the internet as missing? Also we know these monsters can impersonate people on the phone (and radios apparently) and that they have done this before. Something is off....but we'll see.

The walkers I think use the most enticing ppl to lure the regular ppl out. Season 1 they use the grandma to lure the girl, Season 2 the cute girl lures the lonely guy, the couple from the bus gets lured by the cowboy walkers. With Jim they pretended to be helpless ppl. Victor definitely needs to stop being so scared and tell boyd what he knows.

They killed Smiley and as soon as they opened up his dead body, cicadas flew out of him and started killing anyone who fell asleep - day or night. That was definitely worse than the nighttime only monsters.

No suprise they found the new food area. They said in the show season two that the town feeds on hope. If there is no hope left the town probably dies. So just when they all start losing hope again even Boyd then the town gives them something to give them hope again

@@jonfreeman9682 don’t ask me they said it in the show lmao. It’s a literal quote from season 2 in the show. Boyd’s wife appeared to him and she basically told him to give up and stop trying because “the forest feeds on hope” think about it, every single time in this show something bad has happened something good usually comes right after just when everyone starts losing hope again. Idk man show makes no sense and we have gotten almost no answers on anything now into the third season. But the monsters do enjoy playing with the people. That should be obvious. They like watching them suffer they enjoy that for whatever reason. That’s why the one literally told Boyd I’m not gonna kill you I’m gonna torture you by making you watch one of your best friends die in front of you. Probably also why they always have a smile on their face.

The majority of the paintings are of things we have seen before, the anghkooey kids, light house, motel sign, bottle tree, civil war soldiers, Tudor paintings similar to what Ellis paints. The one that stuck out to me was the man in the yellow suit...that is something we haven't seen

The town likes to keep the numbers of creatures consistent, and takes from the population when it loses a creature. Lord help them if Kenny starts burning them. He'll doom the whole town to conversion into monsters. Remember when girlfriend creature said "it wasn't my choice" and how she looked remembering in the mirror, just as Smiley remembered driving when he sat in the bus? The town needs a replacement for Smiley, and Fatima is it. It's not "pregnancy", it's a misdiagnosis. She's converting. The rotting food is for her. I wouldn't be surprised if the town traps more people to replace Fatima and Kenny's mom, to keep the numbers balanced.

11:50 honestly I believe that the reason the writers chose to write her the first two seasons as a typical bratty teen was to show how much the town can really have an impact on a person. Kind of why Ethan isn’t really whimsical and full of wonder anymore.

I have wondered how the monsters become monsters and I believe we are seeing it with Fatima. I am not sure she is even pregnant! The food was spoiled by the monsters to help her evolve and become one of them. It will be a sad storyline when they have to let her go and if they are ever attacked by her! Crazy times ahead!

So here’s some things I was thinking about. If Victors mother drew what she saw before she ever went to From. Was she drawing other people’s visions from their prospective? The drawing of the civil war soldier was an exact replica of what only Jade saw. Could the guy in the yellow suit be the man that jade saw in the cellar crushed by the rock? Also, why doesn’t Victors father mention his daughter that is missing as well, that was odd to me

another super episode! super emotional too...gosh, Tian Chen's death and then seeing her body like that really hit me in the feels man (RIP Tian Chen); I suspect those totems helped with the crops - last week I wondered about this theory and I still sticking with this theory lol. Also, I am genuinely happy Boyd and Kenny got back together! Hopefully they'll be able to get one of those things.

I have a theory about fatimas baby. Idk if people have said this yet, but when martin transferred his blood to boyd, he said my curse is your curse now. he didnt necessarily mean the worms. boyd then refused to do a blood transfusion until he killed smiley monster and transferred the worms to him but that doesnt mean he got rid of the curse. he went back to the clinic and transferred blood to ellis and then fatima got pregnant after because his cursed was passed to ellis and now passed to fatima.

I don't think he has run off. I believe he buried belongings of his mother and that what that scene in the trailer where he has a shovel and book is all about. Hopefully what he buried contains a journal or map to help them escape

The show is a train wreck. It feels as though the writers read several books of the history and culture of North American explorers, the interaction between them and the indigenous peoples they did wrong in "discovering" what became America(cause you know that's just what explorers do), and shoe horned some intricate story of Hope versus Despair while wrapping it up in a children's story. But this is a theory based request for feedback, right? Nobody has once talked about the prominence of the colors of the rainbow featured in the clothing of the main characters, the houses, buildings etc., and what it portends. What if instead of the theme music of Que Sera, Sera it was Somewhere Over The Rainbow? What if all the "trapped" townspeople have to do is come to the center of town, hold hands, have a productive conversation where they introduce themselves(since I am getting tired of looking at the faces of people I've never seen before and don't have any lines to speak of), share information of who they are, what they have experienced in and out of Fromland, and click their heels three times in order to be transported back home? I mean wasn't Dorothy's Uncle named Henry? The writers of this show, as in the show LOST, can't seem to tell a cohesive story to save their lives it seems. Maybe they need to be released from whatever story telling cell they are trapped in, eh?
