Austin, thank you so much for giving some badly needed humor to this subject. I may be needing this procedure and I’m terrified. Was it actually painful as opposed to uncomfortable, cramping up, gas pains? I suffer from anxiety and I think I’d need some form of sedation. Thank you so much again! You are a very man! God bless you.

In the long run, this medication is worse than the disease itself. My lymph nodes swelled, I had a 40⁰ fever, sepsis twice, hair loss, and heart failure... Not to mention that it didn't reduce the Crohn's inflammation at all.

I think the moment you lie down it puts pressure on the colon. Also, the moment you decide it's bed time the body starts to flush remaining food waste in the bowels and this stimulates colon as well. (I think it has to do with getting ready to detox while you sleep)

Hey! In recent reviews from Tech reporters, I learned that the click wheel does not click (or work as a button), so it kind of defeats the purpose of having a iPod styled click wheel. If I get one, it will be the cheaper version without the wheel.

OK so I'm a FLEX semi-finalist and a very pessimistic person regarding my life and expectations, but a huge optimist in other people's lives, so although everyone is telling me that I shouldn't be stressed and that I am a guarenteed finalist I still have that one little crumble of insecurity in me. So my interview is in 2 weeks, and I already started preparing for it just to calm myself down and be sure that I've done everything that is in my power to be accepted in the program. This, and many different YT channels and videos helped me so much. THANK YOU❤

I sent my 72 year old brother some research about how to turn the UC off.Basically research and you will find that people are using the science of D3 3,000 to 5,000 .Build up your D3 levels with blood tests to get to 72 to 105.NOW, you will need 400 mgs of magnessium to stop any calsification and importantly us K2-100 mgs. High stress lowers D3 so a person may have breakthrough and need to go up to 6,000 units daily or 7,000 for a month or two. Study: Vitamin D3 alleviates inflammation in ulcerative colitis by activating the VDR-NLRP6 signaling pathway. Inflammation is a key factor in the development of ulcerative colitis (UC).Feb 8, 2023 I can tell you how D3 worked for me 15 years ago when I was 50 and I had severe allergies, colds and flues since childhood. 3,500 mgs of D3 ,400 mgs and K2 100 mgs and I have been perfectly healthy for 15 years when my immune system had the D3 to modulate my immune ......IT WORKS BUDDY .....now heal and back to school. Here is a patient that used D3 for the UC immune modulation. " I started taking 3000 IU a day after a flare up of UC in Dec 2019, when I found out it was an immunoregulatory (good timing for the pandemic too, gave me a bit of a head start). Since then, I've had 3 Vitamin D blood tests, incrementally increasing my dose finally to 10,000IU (+K2), and getting where I wanted to be >50ng/mL, (actually at 70ng/mL). Since taking the Vitamin D, in the 2 years, not only have I not had any UC flare ups, I've not had any flu or colds, unless you count a minor sniffle that lasted about a day. What did surprise me was that the occasional aching back and joints I had also disappeared. I regularly tell my friends the importance of Vitamin D, and some take it, but often forget for weeks at a time, some still think it's a coincidence, and some saw Hancock in Parliament say tests showed it was ineffective (he lied, there were no official tests). It's very frustrating when it's such low hanging fruit."

I am nervous about side effects. Did you have any long term side effects while on this drug? Thanks for the videos it did help cheer me up. I hope you are doing well and feeling better.

That's a great way of putting it! Obviously a cement company could not offset their carbon because they'd end up spending more than the price they'd get for the cement planting trees etc!
@AdnanAlAlim2 ай бұрын
Add to this the fact that tree plantations capture carbon slowly over time, for about 70 years after which they're cut down for toiletpapier and cheap wood. And besides this, by skipping ecological succession and going straight to the canopy layer by planting trees significantly reduces biodiversity and thereby the maximum biomass that can be accumulated on that land.

Hope ur doing good now dude! Would love another update. Thing about ibd is their really isnt alot of people sharing experience with it, whether afraid coz of the stigma or what not so these videos of ur experience with uc have been great! Maybe just me but nobody talks about anxiety with uc but since getting ill i get afraid to go to public spaces nowadays🙃 wish their was an ibd group chat or something sharing tips and experiences 😅 sounds stupid but idk maybe it would help🤦♂️

Hey Austin, how are you doing now? I've just stumbled across your channel when searching Sigmoidoscopy. I was diagnosed with UC 29 years ago and actually ended up having a total colectomy 21 years ago. Back then we didn't have youtube videos and people sharing experiences it was all very scary. That said, my life is way way better post surgery than it was before. I have a J pouch and it changed my life!!! I love that you have shared your journey here and grateful for the real life experiences and information available to people suffering with IBD these days. I wish i had this 30yrs ago. Your sigmoidoscopy video really helped me as despite many colonoscopy's and major surgery i've never had a sigmoidoscopy so bit nervous lol. I hope you're really well and healthy and thank you for sharing ❤
