hehe ok if you insist then there's no reason for me to argue when that piece that i took off even have a micro perforation to rip it off easily. And there is no need to put it back in the slot since there is a strong double sided tape that will secure the whole box.

@@ToolsandGadgets It's Movistar, from El Salvador, and it was one time payment. The carrier only says that it's regionally unlocked, that's the way they sell the cellphones

And it’s certainly unlocked for other carriers, but from Central America. Now that I want to use it here in the US, I can't because it says the SIM is locked. Would there be any issue if I do a Trade-In with it here in the US?

Sorry i have no experience with out of the country phones then trade it here in the US. But if the phone has been fully paid off from the beginning, apple will accept it regardless of sim locked status. But just to be sure you can always go to a local apple store and explain it to them then do the trade in instore.

That's the reason why i stopped trading my phone with cell carriers

and the $1000 will be split up in 36 months payment, if you decide to upgrade next year, the remaining 24months credit will disappear.

And they force you into a very expensive plan that you probably don't need for 24/36 months. It's a terrible deal unless you need that costly plan anyways.

For me last year was different as well, it was an actual box for the phone to go inside too.

You're welcome! The only time you will get the trade in credit is if you got the iphone 16 thru apple directly. If you got your iphone 16 from either verizon tmobile or at&t then you have no choice but to send it thru the mail.

And also make sure to do the trade in within the 14 days after receiving your iphone 16.

@@ToolsandGadgets Yeah, save the retail and shipping boxes the phones arrive in. Also it’s quite possible to remove the UPS label from the trade in kits VERY careful so you can tape it to the original shipping boxes and use those for the trade in or sell elsewhere.

If you did AT&T u need to send it thru the mail. It depends what courier is posted on the return label. It's usually either UPS or FEDEX.

@bankbibi I'm sorry i'm having difficulty understanding your question. But let me explain, even though you ordered online, after transferring all your data and files to the new iphone, you could just go to any apple store and do the trade in there. No need to put inside the trade in kit box, so basically you could just disregard the trade in kit box or throw it in the trash.

When I did my iPhone 16 pre order my only option I had was to have it shipped to my house and my trade in only gave me the option to mail my old phone to Apple and wait for the trade in kit. Once I got my new phone I tried to take my old phone into Apple Store because I was worried about what you mentioned, but they told me I have to mail the trade in and they can’t process it through the my local Apple Store. Shipping the old phone was real quick. It arrived at the trade in facility the next day after I shipped it. I got approved and I got my refund within two days. I was a little worried, because my phone was in good condition, but It did have a couple little scratches along the rim from a couple drops. I had always used a case, so I had no major damage like cracked screen or anything and they still they gave me the maximum price that was offered for my phone. I would take a video like you said of you placing the phone in the box and and sealing it and showing your shipping label incase you have to dispute it.

@@jgennitti That's good to hear that all went well, but i can't understand why your local apple store wouldn't accept to do the trade in instore. All i can think of them not accepting it is if you did the pre order from the cell carriers like at&t verizon or tmobile and not from apple directly, coz a lot of my viewers here were able to do the trade in instore even though they had the phone delivered to them at home and need to mail back the trade in kit.

That was my first impression too after receiving the box

Great to know! If you have any local apple stores nearby, you could just go there and trade in your old iPhone, and get the refund credits much faster and safer.

I just wanted to say thank you for your honesty. I ordered yesterday. Little backstory I quit smoking cigarettes when I got pregnant 4 years ago and I vape heavily now. I have 2 mods and my husband absolutely hates them 😂. I ordered basically to help me cut back when we are having a drink at night he hates the clouds. He isn’t a smoker and given all the bad habits I kicked when I got with him I think vaping is minor considering I was a full pledge H addict at the time. Fast forward to now I have a 2 and 3 yr old and know this would be much better even if I just cut back and don’t stop completely. I am going to contact them and try to use your link even if it’s just on future purchases or hell maybe get a credit back or something. Your review is the first I’ve seen that just didn’t feel like total bullshit so thank you. You just got a new subscriber 😂

2 and a half weeks out i could say that im still in the transition phase, where i use FUM indoors and when I'm outdoors i use my vape. Same as before when i switched from smoking to vaping where i was using vape indoors and smoking when i'm outdoors until i totally stopped smoking after a while.
