Ugh, batteries again. I'm looking for a similar device/setup that allows you to plug the sensors into the wall so you don't have to spend so much time constantly buying and replacing batteries.

Hey there yes this does use batteries, however you could set the update interval time longer to conserve batteries. Because using the typical wall adapter could limit your placement near a wall plug and is not waterproof.

@@ToolsandGadgets I understand *why* they make these types of devices with battery only (portability, waterproof), I just don't understand why no one seems to make one that can be plugged in. In my case, and I believe LOTS of use-cases, people want to set these up somewhere in a few areas of their house to monitor room temps and having them plugged in and running in a static, non-wet location is ideal. I want as close to real-time monitoring as possible, so setting the polling rate to a uselessly long time (every 30 or 60 minutes) to save batteries only makes the battery requirement all that less desirable. This product you're reviewing would be perfectly what I want and need, but for the need to deal with batteries.

Oh yeah i totally understand your point, however i set mine at 1minute interval to update and it has been 1 month since i installed it and currently the battery is at 75%. So with this current setup i expect the sensors to run dry at 4 months.
