Pancake lenses and pass-through seem like huge qol upgrades for vr/ar users. A quest 2 for 100 though, would be worth having both maybe, strap a friend in.

I feel like this thing is not meant to be worn in public like on a plane. You also said it doesn't track your hands in a dark room, will it still track the controllers?

@@LostBam You can actually buy a Infrared light that attaches to the side of the quest 2/3 and allows you to use it in the dark. Takes minimal battery too!

I recently bought a quest 3 and I have to admit that I'm disappointed, the pass trough is probably the biggest defect for me, it's very low quality, grainy and full of lens aberrations...

we can’t see shit thorough this vr headset. quest 3 is very blurry and grainy, we can’t even see our phone display, please don’t buy this, just returned it today

Thats strange. I can see my phone, type texts, I can even see my smart watch too. The illumination level is very important for clear vision.
