How come that very often even before you examine patient, you already know that he has something wrong, f.e. tight muscles somewhere or no springiness even before you touch, or right at that moment? It's weird, unless you do examination before videos ?

A piece of heavy metal fell down from “above/the side” and hit me on my left hip. I was bending forward a bit, when it hit. Shortly after i had pain in my left si joint area. MR showed inflammation, actually in both si joints. Lots of pain in buttocks, low back, tight hamstrings in my left side. Chiropractor says left si joint is not moving. And has tried to release it, but not much has happend. Im thinking that the impact on the hipbone made it wedge down, “slide downwards” on the sacrum. Locking itself there it that position. It has been over two years in this situation - it is so painfull, and is actually just getting worse. But i believe that i have found the reason now - and therefor help could be on its way☺️. My hipbone was “hammered” downwards, and therefor my si joint is wedge into the sacrum in an downslip. If you could comment, that would be awesome😁😌😌. Thank you for your videos! Kind regards from Denmark, Karen

I've been scouring the internet and asking my doctor for years, nobody can tell me what is going on, like I'm in a different reality. I then search 3 words: Side-Bent-Coccyx and Bum! Simple as day you explain the mechanics in an easy and straightforward way. Wow! I'd really like to visit your clinic, but I live in Europe. I bent my tailbone to the left 7 years ago, last winter my right jaw couldn't open properly, so you are right on the mark. I'll have to search around for a therapist, share your work, or make my way to Colorado. God bless you Sir.

Does a lack of posterior glide of tibia affect on the hamstring?
@jerryheschsr
@jerryheschsr Ай бұрын
It is reasonable to assume it would an inhibitory effect, to what degree, I am unsure. This could be due to tension on the joint capsule, ligaments, fascia and tendon affecting the Type III mechanoreceptors
@awakemind84
@awakemind84 Ай бұрын
@@jerryheschsr I think that one of the major effects on the hamstring happened on the medial tendons which are the insertion of the semitendinosus. A hypomotility in glide or rotation of the tibia could have either an effect on the two other tendons attached to the semitendinosus tendons which are the tendon of the gracilis and satorius muscle AKA PES Anserius. Dr. Hesch, as a doctor who has hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), I'm finding that this situation is actually quite common. We have suffered in silence for so long not having anyone to address the issues associated with EDS. Because even though it was discovered in 1901 and 1907 (by two dermatologists-Ehlers and Danlos) it was thought to be very rare and therefore there was little if any information regarding it was taught in medical schools. Well, research is now showing it is not rare as once thought. There's even some intial research showing that many people who have been diagnosed as Fibromyalgia, may actually suffer from a connective tissue disorder, the most common being hEDS. So, those people who are hypermobile and suffer with a connective tissue disorder (collagen dysfuction), we experience not only SI joint dysfunction, Ilium rotations, pubic symphysis issues and low back pain, but from malalignments all over our bodies. We are certainly hypermobile, but also experience a some point in our condition progression the compensatory response of horrible spasms in all tissues-muscles, tendons, ligments, fascia, etc. We can simply get out of a car or truck, or walk on uneven ground, or sit with poor posture, do normal ADL's, etc. and cause this type of malalignments with loss of response on Spring tests. Add to it any kind of fall, car accident or trauma, we regularly sublux and dislocate easily, most times with spontaneous reductions, but sometimes not. Thank you for posting these videos! Please see Ehlers-Danlos.com for more information and resources.

Thank you so much for the knowledge of the cuboid bone. I have suffered off and on for the past 10 years with pain. I’ve seen doctors,gotten X-rays, an MRI, cortisone shots and nothing has helped. Now that I know it is a matter of manipulation and exercise I feel that there is hope of getting to recovery.
@jerryheschsr
@jerryheschsr 3 ай бұрын
I have helped some with chronic cuboid syndrome. Balancing transverse plane movement in subtalar joint and navicular oftentimes liberates cuboid but sometimes it does need the opposite of the cuboid whip to restore pronation of the cuboid. Mine was stuck after a trauma and rather that whip it I took a few minutes to glide it upwards and the 30-oscillations, then addressed the aforementioned, "once and done"! If you ever travel to CO I am near the airport. I can't promise that this is true, but I hope so: " Now that I know it is a matter of manipulation and exercise"
