For the treatment demonstration, it looks like you apply a superiorly directed force and then stack a posterior to anterior force. Am I understanding this correctly? I appreciate the clarification.

Victoria yes you got it. However the vertical force is probably not necessary

Hi Dr. thank you for sharing your knowledge. I’m a 30 year old female, and from what I remember I fell pretty hard as a child and hurt my tailbone. Since then my tailbone has protruded out of my body. I had laying down X-rays done and was told my tailbone is at a complete 90 degree angle inwards towards my body. It also leans towards the left. My spouse and I want to have a child and I am terrified to do nothing about this issue after all these years. At this point I would like to correct it for the back pain it causes. Have you encountered patients with a complete 90 angle inward tailbone? Should I see a pelvic floor therapist? What are your recommendations and do you think a case like this is fixable without removal? Thank You! 🙏🏼

Probably not fixable best to discuss with ob gyn

I have SIJ instability. It seems like I’m more prone to injury. When I take my two hands and cup my iliac the right side is lower than left side. Recently I tried using a SI belt and to my surprise when I use it the right side iliac is now higher than left side. What can I do to restore the right side hypermobile joint. Currently have a lot of sciatic pain and there’s a prominent speed bump (muscle guarding?) on my right side sacrum.

Where do you live? You can ask your physiotherapist to study my approach at www.heschinstitute.com I cannot diagnose a movement pattern based on how the pelvis looks. That is a very unsatisfactory approach.

@@JerryHeschInstitute When I touch the part of the sacrum and coccyx I can feel my right side higher, I mean, it is easier to touch something on the right side than the left, the left side feels sunken.

When I am standing I can see my stomach rotated to the left and when I am lying down I can see my navel pointing to the left and my right foot externally rotated, sometimes when im standing I notice how I need to have my right foot further back so that my hip looks aligned. I'm sorry for writing a lot, I'm just trying to find answers to my pains, thanks.
