not a chance id go over to electric, never mind spending £76000 on a cab for the general public to not gave a 💩 about how nice your cab is and abuse it, bash their zimmer frames against it, slash the seats with loose keys and stupid metel wear clothing, puke, spill curry sauce, fight, damage, blood and the rest, never mind the old people and their senior moments. 5k on a vw tourneo, and smax etc and you'd earn just as much, half the running costs, none of thebstress of damage etc. thats my opinion anyway, i live in a rural area, no ulez etc. hope it all works out for you as every area has a vehicle that works best

We can only use the LEVC in London as no other vehicle is approved for use as a taxi here.

When I first got one back in 2018 it was 1.20 at home and 3.60 on the street to charge, been out the game for a few years hate to think what the cost is now.

The only people I know who've switched to electric that don't prefer it are track car drivers. I'm having to go back to a diesel for a while and it's horrible to drive again without instant acceleration and regen braking.

I drive both regularly, and while it’s sometimes a nice change to drive a diesel cab again, it is always nice to get back into the electric

No offence meant mate, so don't take the wrong way, but I just don't like the look of the proper Hackney taxis, they just appear so ugly. Like a box on wheels and the interior is so boring. For the same kind of money you could of had the Brand New 2024 Merc Eclass estate

I am a London Taxi driver, we can only use Purpose Built Taxis in London that comply with the Metropolitan Conditions of Fitness, so I would not be able to work in a E Class Merrc Estate

Jamie Good luck on with your Brand New Txe The carpet set from JV Brights is a quality extra but really should come standard from LEVC on a 75k New cab did you get a good price on part ex on your euro 6 Tx4 from Ascott ? the extras mud flaps wind deflectors and Chrome screen washers all finish it off well look forward to any other extras you get for the Cab be Lucky fella

My brother and myself used to buy the used Hackney Cabs and drive them to Belfast back in the day. I’ll always remember JGD707L . She was well used but was the new body and lighting style.
