Amortised over 10years assuming 0 value at the end, it's only 8k a year. Not terrible, offset against taxable income etc. Some people take upon themselves to perpertually pay 3-4-500/month leases for a private car with nothing to show for at the end. Totally ok

Interest to know why you are against Electric cars? National grid have come out and said that if we all switch to EV cars tomorrow the grid would be able to cope. Let's not forget that petrol/diesel does not magically appear at the petrol forecourts. They have to be refined, pumped, stored, transported, pumped, stored etc etc. All of which use a massive amounts of energy.
@mikeyp685Ай бұрын
not a chance id go over to electric, never mind spending £76000 on a cab for the general public to not gave a 💩 about how nice your cab is and abuse it, bash their zimmer frames against it, slash the seats with loose keys and stupid metel wear clothing, puke, spill curry sauce, fight, damage, blood and the rest, never mind the old people and their senior moments. 5k on a vw tourneo, and smax etc and you'd earn just as much, half the running costs, none of thebstress of damage etc. thats my opinion anyway, i live in a rural area, no ulez etc. hope it all works out for you as every area has a vehicle that works best

It's a cost of running a business, every business has costs, and unfortunately we have no choice on what vehicle we can use in London, I would rather not pay that much but what choice do we have?
@Climatetruth2 ай бұрын
I agree… electric will be stopped altogether soon… driving companys out of business and the government can only give so much incentives… with wind and solar only you/we have no chance of using these daily… and when they start the tax and cost of charging goes up but good luck anyways… your choice not mine…

It's a big world out there and just because the UK is slowing down doesn't mean other countries are. Commercial EVs are the way forward, I run a fleet of Peugeot e-partners in the EU they are warrantied up to the hilt these days and possibly the single best investment I've ever made. They are charged overnight in the warehouse which saves on insurance alone, have almost zero maintenance or downtime, my drivers absolutely love them which is important to me. Even if they all completely brick on the day the warranty expires I've still saved a fortune on top of the replacement cost even without the current incentives. Don't believe what you read in the papers mate.

@@harkinsclark1417 well if you believe what you have just replied thats what matters… i dont think yo have read on here what actual working people have said about there vans… i can only go with what individuals say about there own vans… and you seem to be the only one who loves them… i suppose they are fine if you only need one charge in a day and the job is no more than50 miles away with a laden van… but if you love them thats fine… but i dont and thats fine too…
