I remember the first car my mother bought when we moved to our first home. I was a black 1938 Chevrolet Master Deluxe 2Dr Sedan identical to this one. This one is a brown beauty even with the updated tranny.

Years ago my father took me with him to test drive an Isetta. He really liked it and when he showed it to my mother all she said was “Honey, you have four kids!” and that was the end of that.

Great example but honestly the first thought is not impressive. It is a wonderful looking vehicle though. Electric would make it more pleasant and at that stage I’m thinking golf cart.

Attention!!! According to the federal HESCHLAVVO law, it is already forbidden in Switzerland to drive combustion engines on mountain passes from 2025. In France, the SCHLABOUBVE regulates that fossil vehicles that produce fine dust are prohibited in all cities from 2025. The BABVVO in Germany will bann exhaust gas pollution from 2027 and that is what will happen in entire EU also bann of all tires and brakes because of fine dust!!

Woefully underpowered 4bbl 318ci. For “fuel mileage standards” compression was dropped and the horsepower was pathetic. Horrible on ethanol as it would vapor lock.

Any other complaints? lol
@JamesFatima1917Ай бұрын
@ I had the misfortune of driving three of those in my career. If anything it was good on gravel, it was a tank and always started lol!
@CascadiaclassicАй бұрын
@@JamesFatima1917 I used one as a daily driver in the early 2000's, loved that car. Should have never sold this one, they're so hard to find! Especially like this one.
@JamesFatima1917Ай бұрын
@ I think they would make excellent daily drivers. the 318 and the transmission were bulletproof. If I had one again I would bump compression up to at least 9-1, lose the early vintage electronic ignition which failed a lot. Replace the “thermoquad” carb and get a Holley sniper bolt on efi. It would be a good runner.
