Namaste, Sunita! I lived in Tampere from 2020 to 2023. This video brings back a lot of memories from that time! I remember that first snow in 2023. I lived though in Hervanta, which is quite far away from the city centre but it is also a very nice place, especially in the winter with a lot of snow. I worked at the Tampere University in Hervanta Campus. In Hervanta there is also an Indian restaurant called Gate of India, which I liked so much! Maybe you have also eaten there? Now I live in Espoo and work at Aalto University but Tampere will always be a special place for me. Who knows, maybe one day I will move back there.

Hmm.. Mostly people find humid more cool air easier to inhale. It also has less dust and pollen. But humid warm air is problematic since it makes cooling by sweating less effective. Your clothes stay humid and that can affect your skin.

@sabarigirinathanm9838 Consider any job other than IT industry, has limitations related to the Finnish language. Enrolling her in multiple things like integration programs for foreigners, learning language, and then applying for multiple jobs will require time and energy as well as interest. Also, do note that currently, Finland is going through a rise in unemployment due to the employment rate hitting the lowest among European nations. This new change will be a little challenging and needing patience, but eventually, things get smooth. I wish you Good luck and congratulations for the offer in hand.

@@SunitaKumar1206 Thank you so much for your reply. But can we survive and save some money there with one salary. Currently we save around 1.5L/month here in India? I will be getting 70K Euro before tax? What is the income tax looks like there? Can you please help here.

@sabarigirinathanm9838 taxes are high, but it doesn't matter if you wisely plan and have no debt back home like EMIs. Also depends on your expenditure habits. Consider you have children or no children. But yes, the probability of savings with this package is higher. Do consider the social security services you are receiving from medical to children's schooling.
