It is always very useful for a person to analyze all the possible motivations for wanting to do something and to be honest to themselves about it. Humans are extremely skilled in inventing stories to explain why but that doesn't mean that these stories are the actual motivations, all the motivations or even the most relevant ones. We are so tightly controlled by social conventions and different expectations that we might not even ourselves understand our own motives. Writing these and thinking about yourself without sharing with others can be helpful in analysing what you actually feel, want and are motivated by. Once you really understand your motivation it becomes easier to take action or easier to take action. This wasn't about a motivation letter. More about becoming more aware of what motivates you.

Actually the language requirement is to be sufficiently fluent in the language of tuition. If the language happens to be English, then there are different ways to show proof of sufficient language skills. Tests are not the only way. If the applicant is in a situation, where test results are the only available method of proof for him or her, there's a list of different accepted tests. IELTS Academic is just one of them.

@@SunitaKumar1206 I have made the observation that IELTS seems to be used by many people as a synonym for all English proficiency tests. I find this strange. I don't know why people think so. I don't know any study program entry admissions in Finland where IELTS has special status or is the only accepted test.

@just42tube IELTS is important for any program a student enters in English language but the student's native schooling language is not English. There are students who have studied throughout in native languages, and when they take admission in universities offering course language in English, the conduct of all sorts of knowledge transfer gets messed up. In USA, TOFFEL is recognised for this.

@@SunitaKumar1206 In Finland that is not really true. The Finnish National Agency for Education has it's own official National Certificates of Language Proficiency (YKI). YKI test exist for English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Northern Sámi, Russian, Spanish and Swedish. Higher education institution in Finland accept of course YKI tests but also many other tests like IELTS, TOEFL, Person Test of English Academic (PTE A), Cambridge C1 advanced and C2 Proficiency. Also accepted proofs include University degree completed in English in many countries, Primary and Secondary education in English in many counties.

@just42tube I will look into this as I got this information from my coach and if things have changed or I misunderstood something, it needs to be rectified and informed again. Thank you for your effort. I appreciate it.
