really appreciate your warning to work with alcohol inks in a well ventilated area - they are great, but people have to be careful

so what kind of alcohol are you using
@Paulenannmarie2 жыл бұрын
While watching Tim Holtz's video, he warns "Note: Ranger does not recommend using Tim Holtz® Alcohol Inks, Metallic Mixatives, Snow Cap Mixative or Alcohol Ink Blending Solution in spray bottles as these contents contain alcohol and should not be airborne." That one "tool" is surely making things airborne. That might be what made you ill.

I was just talking to a rep from Arteza, and they are planning on putting out a brush nib for these! I was asking about the 144 set and bought it anyways cuz I'm impatient, lol.

Hey, what about using the alcohol with Watercolors instead of water?? Did you tried this before? Lol i just thought about it

Dosnt work same with acrylic it melts the binders and then you have pigment floating around in the alcohol in little blobs

I totally agree with you. Thank you so much for sharing this video... I hate Alcohol... I have to use it when I manufacture my Gold Rush Horse Liniment, for Arthritis, Sore Muscles and Joint Pain. But I put it in a huge container, and put the lid on top as soon as possible. I have to use Grain Alcohol... which is what Ever Clear is too. Again, Thank you for sharing this very informative video...

Yeah, looks good. I like those colors you chose to use together. That's the look, it's hard and there is a learning curve. At first I thought the hard part was just getting the supplies to use, but nope...it's just time and some luck and eventually get the feel of it.

Hey, I want to mention that you can buy on eBay these inks, www.ebay.com/itm/162690019210 It might work, I haven't tried it. I have plenty of ink in my markers currently, so I don't need an immediate solution.

I always asked for a black and white print out and an actual color photo of the animals I've painted for people. It just made it easy to see the values. And I know many artist do the same.
