I own a 2020 Subaru brz and I’m nearly due for a battery replacement. My question is, after I install the battery myself and can I leave alone? or does a new battery need to be registered after installation. I know for BMWS you need to get them registered after installing a new battery but I’m not sure with Subarus.

halogen light bulbs actually make sense, LED lights are too glarey (when compared to halogen lights) and also have alot of blue light within the light sprectrum, which can make them feel more harsh.

I can vouch for the Awe Touring Exhaust. Installed it to my 2020 brz and the sound is night and day, makes the car feel more alive. Although as someone who lives in Cali, I've been flashed a couple of times for it being too loud :(

The Alpharex are TOO GOOD! I get flashed every night with my low beams on. They are just as bright as the high beams, so be prepared to be blinded right back. They are abysmal in the fog or mist, as they are too bright. They are angled too high despite adjustment. You'll light up highway signs, and you'll find yourself steering away from cars because you feel like a dick blinding other people. I bought them because I have an eye disease with light sensitivity, and now I get high beam flashed constantly....

Watching this vid again.. and again.. Mainly in anticipation of receiving my Rae CBE coming soon! Same spec as Kevin's exhaust setup in this vid.. resonated + mufflers. The wait has been a bit long, but it'll be worth it. There is one other VB here locally (East Tennessee area) that has the Rae installed, and the Rae Motorsports CBE has the best tone of the ones I've been able to hear in person. I 've been able to hear the Invidia R400, Tomei (dual exit), ETS Extreme, AWE Track/Touring, and Cobb.. and I've heard a few of the Axle-back options as well. After hearing the Rae CBE in person for the first time (even before owning a VB.. lol), that was my choice. I'm pairing my Rae CBE with a Rae Intermediate pipe as well. Which I just ordered on Black Friday a few weeks back. 🤙

I'd maybe just mention that pressure washers 1500-2000 psi flowing 2+GPM are ideal for car washing. Most foam cannons require at least 1.8 GPM but 2+ is best. That karcher is probably a little under spec!

Does the brake light flash everytime you press the brake or is there a period of time after a flash that it only shows up as solid? It wpuld be nice if there was an option for this so eveytime you press the pedal in stop and go traffic, it's not flashing.

Can confirm that the alarm is off by default for 2024 BRZ Limited. I bought this car brand new early December 2024 and the method in the video works for me

Just installed mine, as someone with little mechanical experience, no garage, done it on the road side next to my apparement, here are some tips: 1. Be careful with the rubber boot on the linkage, it's hard to get off at first, and it rips quite easily if you're not patient; 2. The c clip was extrememly hard to remove for me, I destroyed mine removing it, but Billetworkz gives you a spair one so no problem; 3. There are 2 bushings between the linkage, the passanger side of mine got stocked on the transmission arm, so I had to remove the correlated one on the short shifter to reconnect the linkage. With all the mentioned troubles it took me about 3 hours to complete, and I didn't have to get under the car. New shifter feels very crisp, removes some of the rubberyness if you're using heavier shift knobs. Definitely recommended, just make sure you have all the tools mentioned, and plenty of time.

I have GR86, but since I’m from EU it’s impossible to do modifications due to some crazy rules. If a product doesn't have a TUV certificate I can't homologate my car.

Im from Sweden and our version of the GR86 has a working 4th break light from factory compared to yours i the US. So my question is do i still have to remove one of the tail lights just to install this 4th break light or will it just work outright from the same 4th break light connector that i have now?
