The Atari games weren’t sealed. I would have gotten them if they were. They just had the plastic still on some of them. At first glance it looks like an amazing pickup. There weren’t any rare or first party nes/n64 games. You never see this many Nintendo games and not have Mario Games, Zelda, donkey Kong, Castlevania, Mega Man, etc. There were duplicates of a lot of games. This collection was picked through before he originally bought it. It was probably a video game collector unloading most of the lower end stuff that he picked up in collection. This would have been great for a collector to pick up, but I already had most of the games myself.

@pickingandpunching okay yea if they weren't sealed then I feel much better about it haha I did notice the nes games were pretty common, but atleast some commons you don't commonly see ehh. After I completed the nes library, and sold it off I've literally seen less than 10 nes games in the wild since 2021

I should have picked up the 7800 Atari games. I was so focused on the NES and the new boxes of stuff he kept brining me out. Majority of the NES/N64 stuff was filler games. It seems like the collection was already picked through. There weren’t any first party titles or games you would hope that would be in a collection this big. It would have been an amazing pickup for someone starting a collection. I collect NES and I had majority of the stuff there.

Media def has a potential to go up in the future but I don’t want to spend over $1,000 and tie up my money and store those items until then. It was def a cool collection. I already have a big portion of these in my personal collection or I would have bought more than what I did.

Yep, you are def right. I put them off to the side to look at all the NES and other boxes that he had. I never went back to look at them. So many other people kept coming up to the stuff.

I put them to the side to dig through all the NES/N64 stuff. Then he started pulling out more boxes and I got focus on those. He then pulled me out a sports card collection (it will be on picking and punching cards in a future video). I never went back to look at them and other people came up and grabbed them.

I think people like to tell the story behind the items. Sometimes the backstory is the selling point or helps give it value.

I agree rod, and sometimes maybe they think most people won't appreciate a bigger price so they have to try and sell you on why it's worth that amount before they "shock" you with the price

Lol, almost every yard sale or flea market I’ve been to does that when you show interest in something, it’s their way to explain the asking price.
