Hi Sharpey, I really enjoyed watching this video and nice to see you using simple good old-fashioned hand-tools & hand-skills...(apart from the jigsaw & router haha) A good inspiration to the people who don't have 'all-the-tools', and who want to make something with minimal tools to practice their hand-skills also. Really loved your comments... 'All my missus has to do is look at a piece of wood, and she gets a splinter'! haha 🤣I'm going to have a go at this project too, thanks very much 🙂

Don't use acid products to bring back rusty tools. Take the worst off with a brush then use a non corrosive rust remover. I've done it to loads of old planes, chisels, etc..

I bought a screwfix wire wheel for my 6inch bench grinder too. The thing was so crooked and out of balance it shakes the whole workshop. 😂 proper piece of junk.

nice and neat. Can I ask which nail gun do you use? And can we just use a nail gun to fasten the panels? I see you use drywall screws and glue. Thanks.

Pro tip: check the brushes before every job you do with the saw. If the brushes are wearing out faster than they should, you need to take a look at the comutator (it's a cylinder composed of a couple dozen copper plates that the brushes make contact with; it's part of the armatuer assembly - the saw motor) and make sure it's not damaged. If it is damaged or showing signs of excessive wear and tear, you'll need to buy a new armature assembly. Also, if your brushes are broken/disintegrated, then you can bet the comutator is definitely damaged/excessively worn.

It might not be the best because they copied the exact design from Lexivon which is identical in every way even the tips are interchangeable 😂

all the best from Doncaster but one thing you got wrong, left wheel is left thread (not right as you stated) and right is right thread (left as you stated), easy mistake while doing a voice over.

I don't get it. If you don't grind the balls down then when you put them into the T50 holes are then your just bolting them back up

Looking forward to the follow up video where you cook a chicken with it. I bought one specifically for that job. Edit: just saw the end where you said you didn't have any success with a chicken. I'll try a chicken leg and report back.

Hi Sharpey I loved this. You're a very straightforward talker and you stick to the subject. Thanks a million. May I ask - how long did it take you to make the cabinet please, excluding time spent painting it. Cheers.

I have one of those saws and they are perfectly good saws for what I need. The legs and ancillaries are best to be customised for your needs and you’ve done a great job. Well done.

I’ve watched all the videos on folding saw horses, and this has to be the best design I’ve seen. It folds flat and only uses two hinges. The load is not taken by the hinges or screws unlike some other designs and it can be knocked together with only hand tools in a couple of hours. Brilliant.

So there is a "pin" in each of the adjustable heads? So you align the pin, then lock it in the hole? The problem with commercial clamps is that they actually strip out and "waller" out from use and then they start slipping, because they have such tiny serrations on the metal rod and on the internal mechanisms. The Harbor Freight clamps are so soft that they strip out after 10 projects in one review here I watched on "The Wood Whisperer" and some people report the Bessey stripping out, but it's not clear if that's the new model or the old model.
