Most pro cyclists are very stoic on the outside. But Peter was indeed different. He had that protagonist energy on him. His legendary win celebrations or simply goofing around off the bike. He made people happy and we loved him for it. Also he had perhaps the greatest bike throwing technique of all time. His time on Liquigas-Cannondale and Tinkoff was iconic. Also that amazing 2015 national champ jersey. Undoubtedly the greatest cyclist of the 2010s. Great video.

I absolutely had a huge man crush on Peter Sagan too! Thought it would last a lifetime, until Pogi stunned the world in 2020 and has continued to do so ever since! This is the year of the triple crown baby! Already has Giro and Tour double under his belt, if he can get the rainbow jersey later this year it would be my favorite season ever by a rider!

Fantastic series! I'd say you can work on your tempo when you speak (e.g. listen to yourself and make a new transcript placing a comma or a dot whenever you make a pause: I think you'll realise the speech can be a bit less cut up). But really, amazing work and definitely a unique voice in cycling storytelling, I'll be happy to watch more!

Funny to see how much the TT positions have changed. Also it looks to me like there was a lot more experimentation with wheelsets, hands and arm positioning, bar height etc. in 2017 compared to now. From what I see now, most riders have a similar position, with only forerarm angle / head height slightly changing across the peloton

This Giro was one of my favourites: Bob Jungels in pink and the rise of Gaviria (who I honestly thought was going to be the next untouchable sprinter for the rest of the decade) were excellent to watch

Sorry for this being so long. I'm playing my own commentator here😂 Stage 5: Such an embarrassing moment for any rider😳 L. Pibernik will remember this day for the rest of his life!! I've seen several riders make a similar mistake. This was F. Gaviria's prime years and a great sprint. Timed perfectly. He was pretty untouchable this whole season if I remember correctly Stage 6: This was M. Pedersen's coming out season. He was not the big name he is now so everyone was expecting him to work for J. Stuyven which would be the logical choice but it just wasn't meant to be on this day. The better man won!! Stage 7: It was so important to come into that final turn in the front. Personally I think F. Gaviria was in a decent spot at that final turn. He had the "WOLFPACK" on his side (the best lead out in the peloton). C. Ewan was very fast that day BUT F. Gaviria really was fastER. He gained ground on C. Ewan!! He was just a few tire widths too slow tho Stage 8: Heartbreak for V. Conti. He was just too eager and went into that hairpin too fast. G. Izagirre was the better man. His brother and him are no slouches! Stage 9: Definitely a GC day!!! I've always been a huge team SKY fan and this was an shit day for SKY. Once again, like many other times, G was in the wrong place at the wrong time and hit the ground again. He's a beast tho and he lived to fight another day!! I don't think you mentioned that he got back on his bike and finished the stage and had a great ITT the next day. T. VanGarderen was never really able to be the GC everyone in the US hoped he would be. Great battle tho. N. "Tramadolito" Quintana had a great day. Not a fan of "Tramadolito" but he had some great wins. He made it look so easy on this day. Look at his style and his face. Just another training ride for him "The battle lines are being drawn!!" (Great closeout) THANKS FOR THE TOP NOTCH CONTENT BROSKI!! KEEP UP THE QUALITY CONTENT!!! 🤘🏻🇬🇧

Where do I start? First of all you do bang on💥 job of bringing us the details. The knowledge you have would have me believing you're a lifelong cycling fan. As I've told you in the past, I'm an avid cycling fan of 40 years. Now let me speak on the video . . . Ahhh yes, the two Bardiani-CSF riders that tested positive for GHRP's. It wasn't discussed much as it never is Stage 1: Postlbergers win was one of those of pure chance. It was not supposed to happen but there's no reason for him to wait. Some riders would wait for their train to catch up but he didn't and for that he was a hero. It was an awesome stage win!! Stage 2: Griepel (the Gorilla) was a beast and Gaviria WAS a great sprinter (had about 2 great seasons as most sprinters do) but he's notoriously known for starting his sprints too early! (sidenote - as a huge Cav fan I'd love to see you do something on him one day. He's probably the best sprinter of all time whether you like him or not! He has TIED Merckx TDF stage wins record so maybe you'll wait to see if he beats it this year😉 either way I'm hoping you do one on Cav and I won't be mad if you bring up anything negative. I know he's controversial) Stage 3: crosswinds are the number one reason echelons start and I think this day it was tail crosswind which is VERY fast and catching a draft doesn't do you much good Stage 4: this was Team UAE's first year (previously Lampre-Merida). Their main wins came from Polanc, Mohoric, Ulissi and Costa that year. Their only GC wins were D. Ulissi at Tour of Turkey and R. Costa at Abu Dhabi Tour that year I believe. They weren't the juggernaut they are now but how could we ever expect to see what we're seeing now? It's amazing what some of that unlimited Saudi Prince oil money can do to bring some wins. I won't share my thoughts on that tho😉 🤘🏻🇬🇧

I adore rim brakes, but i cant deny that the bikes had changed/evolved a lot in just a short few years. So nostalgic to see riders like Kiryienka, Polanc, Tuft, Van Garderen or the Gorilla. Great video, narration and soundtrack :)

I looooved the 2017 Giro. There was something special about it, i cant quite put my finger on it. Magnificent 100th edition. The whole 2017 season and year is quite nostalgic for me. This is going to be a blast.
