My first attempt at this failed on my Crossfile Pro table with Lesic Razor CUT45 torch. Torch of stop firing when it hit a hole. Switched to a Primeweld CUT60 with 'pilot arc' and everything worked fine.

Well done. I put the same unit in a 1967 Buick Electra 225. No tunnel clearance issues, either. I replaced the ST400 (Super Turbine 400) with a BOP pattern Hyrda-Matic (TH400).With the added length of the Gear Vendors unit, it allowed the switch to a one-piece 3.5 inch drive shaft from the whimpy 2-piece, 2.5 inch style. I also used Strange for the 4130 drive shaft and yoke--- and S60 rear end. Nice stuff!

I am hesitant to comment because this video is already 6 years old. But I am watching it, so in case someone else is using tips from it, I have some suggestions: first, since this is only a ceiling, how you screw it probably doesn't matter. But if this metal was placed on the roof, there is definitely a wrong and right way to overlap and screw. Contact your supplier or watch some credible youtube, or watch some instructional videos from learned people OR YOU WILL HAVE A LEAKY ROOF. It is that important.

Is it advisable to bolt the header to an actual head, to help hold it's shape??
@MagaRickn
@MagaRickn 8 ай бұрын
Okay, I see you clamp to the table, instead of the head. However, my table is not as heavy duty, and I have my heads, so I may bolt to the head. :)

Yes, a tool in my electrical tool bag that I keep using all the time. Also perfect for those long screws that hold together door locks. Lightweight, fast and saves the wrist.

I grabbed this for my 1969 Rustang Fastback RustoMod > Helix 64-70 Mustang Bolt-In Deluxe 4-Link Kit w/ Coilover Shocks & Hardware 9190 > But prior to installing I was thinking that 9" Mustang Mach 1 axle housing with larger full size Ford drum brakes is very heavy. With a 72 Camaro front subframe with heavy connectors running back cradling a warmed over early seventies 455 Buck will this bolt in unit be safe and not fall out from under me when cruising the Florida Turnpike or Interstae Hi-ways? I will beef up bolting points with welded plates as needed once I get into installation.

She died five years ago after I had her for three years. I saved her from certain death. She was at a kill shelter for 6 months when I got her. She got an immune disorder and her body turned against her. She is buried behind my new shop. I planted lilies on her grave that come up every spring. Her name was Chuck. Thanks for watching.

Probably not the correct way to operate, but with my new control unit I restricted the downward movement to nearly 0 while leaving the upward Z movement unrestricted to compensate for the elevation change across the table. Ends up a little high on the end of the low side, but not much different than the touch-off starting on the high side.

Same thing happened to me. I used the same fix and everything is fine now. I have the Hypertherm45xp on a GoTorch expanded to 4x4. I used a piece of steel for a spell to make contact, then I decided to bend my tab too. Funny I ran into your video. We had the same mindset. Mine still works fine now for a few years. Thanks for the share

I’ve got a couple of different products from Hirsch and I like them a lot. One of them is a set of tool racks for garden tools like shovels and rakes. The brackets for this tool rack are adjustable. I’ve got two of these but I only have four of the brackets. Does anyone know whether additional brackets are available anywhere? In regard to the instant video, I prefer to buy American products too. However, talk is REALLY cheap. So, if you’re as upset as your dialogue suggests, then put your money where your mouth is and send them back. Otherwise, get off of your high horse and move ahead with the rest of the video.
