your support bar you showed in the beginning was under your bracket the HD one you installed the support bar is over top of the bracket so you're not comparing the same thing. I would always buy OEM parts because of fitment

Thanks for your review. I used the coupon code and saved $17.50 on the 9” touring windshield. I have a 2017 Ultra Limited that came used with a 8” - 9” Klock Werks that IMO has terrible visibility. Glad I came across your review because like you I never heard of Freedom shields before.

Do you need brake and clutch cable extension for 12in hammerheads on a 2021 road glide special ? Or can I use the stock cables ?

Ps freedom used to use notches. Mine has notches like HD standard.

How tall are you? I recently purchased a 03 elctra glide and the gentleman had a 7" freedom non touring on the bike. I'm 6'0 wearing a full-face helmet. I noticed after long rides my necks sore, granted I have a herniated c6. I'm wondering if it's the right height.

Awesome video. I had more trouble getting the left control off the handle bars. I could not get the top button off the switch housing. Actually a relatively easy job

Do you recommend bushings for the newer bikes?

Couple things….great video. But never use an impact with Torx fasteners. You’ll learn after you do enough of them. Also, use a spray bottle with Dawn water mixed on the wire harnesses. A lot easier pulling/pushing through the bars.

I noticed you did remove the ignition switch. Is it not in the way of anything?

I like mine taller than me. No different than a car windshield. I like looking through it. I’ve tried EVERY configuration you can think of and if it’s not above me looking through it I get severe buffeting

I wish the people reviewing these would tell us how tall they are for a reference point.

Just finished swaping handlebars on my 2023 street glide, everything works lights,horn,ignition but start button is not,bike won't start. Any suggestions?

I have a Freedom Windshield ordered. I am returning the Klock Werks. Distorted vision and helmet buffeting. Hands and arms get a lot of wind also.

and... how to wash the bike, and getting rid of dust and any sand-particles accumulating underneath such cover?

Nice job. Saddleman makes a good product.I recently bought the saddlebag liner and struggled to get it to fit. I let it sit out in the sun for a few hours and it helped some. Also it would be nice if you could color match the lid cover.
