I enjoyed that... appreciate all the time you put into the research! My wife got me my first gremlin bell about 4 years ago. I have it mounted on a gremlin bell bracket attached to my right side lower floor board mount bolt. Gotta mount them low towards the front as you said, and on the right side of the bike because the Gremlins come out of the ditches as you are riding by. Your vid was a reminder to me to mount another bell that was gifted to me onto my Softail.

I was told it had to be given by someone who loves you and to hang it low on bike , it will cause any road demons to go crazy and fall off your bike!😎👍

That's y the OLD CHURCHES ALWAY HAD a BELL ON TOP of the STEEPLE, they WOULD RING the BELL BEFORE the SERVICE to SCARE OFF ANY EVIL SPIRITS . USUALLY YOU SEE BELLS ON CATHOLIC CHURCHES

In the UK i have all ways known them as Pixie Belles, you mustn't bye for your self thay must be gifted to you! The Pixies will do there best to keep you and the bike safe but you have to help them to do this???? To steel a bell from a Bike it Certain Purgatory.

the rule is , buy your own bell, hang in low on the engine, and never wash it. its purpose is to turn nails/screws back over to keep from getting a rear tire flat and to help the road dept. with pot holes. Plus it may help pick up chicks. Unproven but some people need all the help they can get. Spirituall , gemlins are warded off by your Angel, who are given to every man and woman. God takes care of his own. Pslam 91is a good read
