Update on construction of Leather basketballs. Not sure if you knew this, but a leather guy in New York I contacted after weeks of research claims that the valve in the high end balls is galvanized with the bladder. Which is confirmed by the fact that on the Valve from Spalding Top Flight 100 Stranger Things ball broke upon removal, it was a pain to remove in the first place, plus, although the new valve itself worked..the air was now leaking from around the valve. Basically these stupid priced balls not only degrade way quicker than they should, they are also irreparable. Hopefully this info can help someone else. Alright, thanks for the review man. Updated, I recently got the Adidas Pro 3.0 based off your review. I was a tad skeptical when it came deflated...which wasn't a great start, plus the channels were deeper than I like. Having said that, only playing two pick up games with it, so far its a very good ball. I think I like it better than the NCAA Evo Official. I've been conflicted between getting the Wilson NBA ball, since my TF No.M broke, and the BG5000..but BG5000 will be the next one.

Hi, This is an Outdoor ball. I have been playing basketball for 45 years. It is probably the best Outdoors basketball i have ever play with,... Since you are very good technical reviewing basketballs.... i would like you to play with it outdoors and let me know your thoughts> What i like about it is: (Always outdoors of course) Usually outdoors and outdoor balls are always failing in dribble, handling and specially grip. This ball strong points are exactly that: True dribbling and bouncing. good grip and control. Also another very strong point,... is because of the materials it cleans it self very easy with every bounce... so it is practically never getting dirty,... which results in a very good grip almost 100% of the time. Its got a good balance for shooting and it does not bounce out out the rim like crazy, Like a rubber ball our a indoor ball would do outside.

lmao never seen you review a ball in this tone. i guess it was that bad even tho it looks really nice. goes to show you really gotta play with it. walmart has like 4 spalding composite leather balls for ~$20 and even tho they look nice they probably play like this ball. its just so annoying how wilson and spalding have like a million lower tier basketballs that all seem the same but i guess they wanna appeal to the ones who dont know any better to just buy one based off how it looks.

Hey EB a fan from the land of Americans here just wanted to know more about the molten. I have a GF7X and since I’m from the states everyone thinks that it’s the real deal professional ball but I don’t think so. My question is 1.) what is the difference from the GFx line and the BG thousand line do professional leagues use both models?

Wilson has three basketballs that are the same but under different names the authentic series indoor ball the authentic series indoor outdoor ball and the signature series indoor outdoor ball and they are all three made with the same cover I did a comparison on the signature series indoor outdoor and the authentic series indoor outdoor already but I just received the authentic series indoor ball so I'll probably do a comparison video of all three balls but there isn't much to compare they are literally the exact same basketballs they are made with the same pure feel cover. Something to note is that these are NBA replica balls play intended to replicate the NBA game ball which is designed for advanced professional players at the highest level of the sport so it's not going to be grippy and tacky like some basketballs it's a shooter's ball you have to have some level of skill to shoot with one of these basketballs because they are a bit of a butterball by design

I have been playing b ball for 35 years. Just last year I found out about the existence of Molten balls, after years of Spalding and Wilson, Molten is the one for me.

You never want to rub mud on leather then brush it off because all those granules of dirt do is clogged the pores and absorbs the moisture that the leather needs it also prevents the leather from properly breathing
