As below, f-type uses the jag remote app. You can start the engine and set the climate control to whatever temp you want. 10 mins and you're in. Then put the heated steering wheel and seat on. Its one of the best cars in the cold i have ever owned. Its even known as the 'all weather Supercar'. I dont understand why you would do this in the video. I get into my f type every day with the app at 5am and it was -6 last week in west midlands where i am.

That relies you on keeping / paying for the subscription…. I forgot to do this so haven’t had access to the app for awhile

Not much you can do with cold temperatures careless of the age of the car. It still snowed in the 1990’s
@jacobwhite1360Күн бұрын
@tootalltodrive yeah no kidding it snowed.. my 98 XK8 doesn't have this issue though because the handles are mechanical.. that's my point bud. Too much electric garbage in modern cars, you don't need disappearing handles that don't work in the more extreme temperatures.. that's just common sense bud.

Yeah, let's just spray more water on the handle, may as well spray some on the window seals too... Absolute muppet! 😂
@tootalltodriveКүн бұрын
Why? Handle needs to pop out… and the window needs to drop. Both valid places to spray surely?
@KIMkardashi-unКүн бұрын
@tootalltodrive Because he didn't commit to the plan properly. He just decided to spray some water on his jag, so he looks cool for a youtube video. All he's now done is spray more water further into the handle and window, which will now freeze, making the problem worse...
@blizteredthumbs79112 күн бұрын
Handle just adds to your problems. So yes, get handle free. Hold as to open but don't reef it. Pour quite warm but far from boiling water around the door seal. Boom, sorted. Most times one side is wind side, other isn't. Try the other side, jump in, start car, blower on screen. Give it a few mins, the heating will break the seal on drivers side.
