With how cold the temperatures were, you would have expected it to be a easy one stop. With how Ferrari fell off a cliff on the mediums and Red Bull on the hards, I can't imagine that being tyre wear, graining must have been a huge problem.

I agree with Acescheil here. Hulkenberg sets the standard for haas and magnussen mostly underperforms. The fact that bearman has outqualified hulkenberg twice makes you question if hulkenberg is even that good anymore, I mean magnussen clearly isn’t. I think ocon will be faster in the haas next year, he generally is able to maximise the car’s abilities and doesn’t bottle podium chances like hulkenberg did throughout his career. I’d be surprised if bearman was to beat ocon next year since youd never see ocon locking up under pressure against someone behind him. Examples like this include: Japan 22 finished p4 with THAT alpine defending against Lewis Finished p3 in Monaco in 2023 and defending hard but fair against both sainz and Lewis.

Nah Ferrari will have a car to fight the McLaren for the entire season like 07 and will have a stronger driver pairing than McLaren

Crazy to think that Andrea Moda was mentioned by many F1 KZbinrs, even Turbos and Tantrums did cover the story of the team and how they were unsuitable to the championship standards and this was when FISA were still around and Jean-Marie Balestre was FIA President, but T&T also went into depth over what had transpired with the team, especially their treatment to Perry McCarthy. Also, his Flat Out, Flat Broke book also explained about how bad his experience in F1 was. Also, the campaign was called; 'Let Pel Out.'

Everything team related to F1 pre 2000 and even a little later on seemed so loose very little F1 oversight outside of race weekends, next to no vetting of owners or sales and odd rulings over licenses though I'm not sure how that worked back then or now.

Max didn't exactly loose out on 3 pts with the penalty. He out qualified the pace of th car to use that term. He wasn't beating Ferrari or McLaren who were relatively close in pace. Him holding up Lando probably cost him at least a challenge on Carlos. This also doesn't take into account the fact that he may have even fallen into the clutches of Mercedes even without the penalty given how far off them he was by race end whilst driving in clear air and them scrapping with each other ahead of him.

I’m definitely not a Verstappen fan…but I have to admit that I hope he wins the championship. Lando as a champion would be ridiculous. He’s done so many mistakes, he is insecure and he’s not able to make the most out of his package (most of the time at least). On the other hand I’m quite disappointed that Max had to play dirty again. In my opinion he was properly punished. But now I kinda feel like none of them deserves the title. Max has at least proven himself and talent wise he is above Lando but I’m also tired of his old tricks. It’s a shame.

It's shocking this story is barely known within F1 circles when it's the kind of story that should be well known even to the general public. There should be a movie. It has everything. Ferrari went from winning in 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 07, with Todt, Brawn, Schumi, Kimi... then lost or burned everything that made them win. Sabotaging the current WDC to lure a new title sponsor. That new sponsor's big master plan. Then that big sponsor's big plan getting derailed by an "Is that Glock!?" moment and an "Is that Lehman Brothers!?" moment just before it was all supposed to come together. No matter though, all the pieces are now in place and Alonso is going to clean up now. Surely. All the meddling at Ferrari to get to that point can't have upset the boat too much... The cherry on top is Kimi is still their last WDC. A stake in the ground marking the exact point Ferrari shot themselves in the foot, a point they still haven't managed to work back up to. They could have just stayed at the top but they ruined it all with their arrogance. Amazing.

Incredible that so many people call the defender "right to push you off track" as "unfair" when you have DRS to overtake. A ridiculous tool that's LITERALLY unfair. Imagine no apex rule. How can any car defend anybody then? Overtakes should be hard earned and the highlights of the races, not simple DRS activations with no way to defend. Im surprised about this "unfair" claim (less so surprised that most come from british people)
