Crazy to think that Andrea Moda was mentioned by many F1 KZbinrs, even Turbos and Tantrums did cover the story of the team and how they were unsuitable to the championship standards and this was when FISA were still around and Jean-Marie Balestre was FIA President, but T&T also went into depth over what had transpired with the team, especially their treatment to Perry McCarthy. Also, his Flat Out, Flat Broke book also explained about how bad his experience in F1 was. Also, the campaign was called; 'Let Pel Out.'

Everything team related to F1 pre 2000 and even a little later on seemed so loose very little F1 oversight outside of race weekends, next to no vetting of owners or sales and odd rulings over licenses though I'm not sure how that worked back then or now.

I don't think I said it in the podcast, but Andrea Moda was the turning point. After his experience with Andrea Moda, Ecclestone moved the sport more towards the big car manufacturers. so this era died out thanks to Sassetti
