For wedding and events shoot which one is best, R6 or R8 ? Please reply sir

I have the R50. Sigma 18-35 1.8 ef lense. And the rf stm lense 35 mm 1.8.. Should i purchase the r8 or the r7... I use it for Instagram videos some video interviews, moving content so stabilization might be nice but the r8 might have better quality..but do I lose too much quality eith my current pair if lenses? As budget wont allow more lenses

The problem with revies of Sigma 150-600 S for Sony E is that it was on old firmware (ofcorse newer at the time of the revies) and Sigma has derasticly upgrade AF performace and IOS in this lens. It's practycly on pair with 60-600.

Great video but you got one thing wrong. You do not lose 4 customisable buttons if you use the 4-way joypad to move AF points. You only have to program one arrow (e.g. Down arrow) to "start" using the 4-way joypad to move the AF point, and the other 3 remain programmable for other features. So hit top, left or right to get its feature, hit the down arrow to start using the 4 arrows for AF point navigation. After touching the shutter button or the camera timing out, the other 3 arrows revert to their own features again.

Fantastic review, as always ! I would have bought the Canon but my budget allowed me only to choose Sony for its third partly lenses.. Coming from Olympus i find the A7iv ibis, features and handling so poor..

I own the version II of this lens and after shooting three different brands of cameras over many years, I would have to disagree about this lens. It is without doubt one of the worst lenses I've used. I have to shoot, many (maybe 25) shots just to get one that is NOT BAD. The lens has never produced what I would call a great image. I would not recommend this lens to anyone, save your money and buy something that is actually good.

The jitters in video are likely from using a monopod (or tripod)+VR.

Great review. One option to consider when using the 100-400 on the X-H2 (or X-T5) in situations where maximum reach is needed is to use the internal (M) crop mode. You end up with a 20MP image, which is more than enough for most situations. Your magnification in this mode, when using the 1.4TC, becomes 784mm (1176mm FF equivalent) at an f8 aperture. I find this works very well for wildlife images.

The OM performed beyond expectation superiorly if you compare sensor surface available to perform focusing capture. Even given that outcome is winning over to the larger sensor, it performed extremely well and can get the job done, especially in the MKii with latest software update..

This is the first video I have watched where the autofocus with birds has been a problem. All other videos are praising its autofocus capabilities. I just bought the a7RV, but ofc we have had zero sun since then here in Denmark. Am also replacing my Sony 200-600mm with the Sigma 500 f/5.6. People say that lens is sharper and just better in general. I hope they are right :)

Yes, it's a good quality lens - just… Panasonic („non-Leica”) 12-60 3,5-5,6, IQ-wise, is also good, while being almost three times cheaper. Is Panaleica's nicer build (more metal), somewhat bigger aperture, the two switches and a tad better IQ worth of three times higher price? Everyone has to answer this question by oneself.

Great cameras to compare to. Would need more detailes about video quality as im watching it on phone and cant see it for myself. Does 600mbs do make the difference? I would Imagine.

100-300 has better contrast across the range. Anyway to be honest I would have wanted even more. If I could get say 200-1200 focal lenght I would buy it. If I could get double I would buy it. Frankly neither 600 nor 800 feeld enough but 800 is better I guess.
