A small thing, but the incident takes place in 1977, not in 1980

I just rewatched LOST and most of the criticisms I had of the show when it first aired are still valid today. Especially the “Finale.” Instead of tying up some loose ends or explaining a few unexplained mysteries, they literally told the audience “And then they all died and went to heaven. The End. “ 🙄

Why didn’t Jack need to mumble something while giving Hurley the water that transforms him?

What if (since the island can move and cause people to jump back and forth theough time) the Egyptions were trusted forward in time and that is why there are carvings… Just 1/2 way through this video now..

I just finished watching this in Netflix! I sobbed when Jack died. I never saw it when it originally came out, but I do remember all the talk around it. I have sooo many questions and actually want to watch it again. Glad I found this. Thankful for streaming services and binge watching too! 😂 Side note: Somewhere in the middle of the series I became extremely confused and it felt like they decided to switch gears.. The transitions were weird. And there was one episode where the filming style seemed so different than the others. That was disconcerting.

Although the acting was very good, the abstract ness of the writing left too many varied concepts of what was actually going on. Not a big fan of all these life after death plots.

Show was great but the ending was not clear at all and definitely implies that they are all dead and in some afterlife. How else do you explain Jack's father saying 'how did YOU get here?' and Jack then realizing that he was also dead (his father already being dead from before).

Watched the whole thing. Truly amazing work, brother! I miss not only the show, but the MOMENTUM of this show, the feeling of being part of something special and having an emotional collective experience

I just ended binging the six seasons and I would not mind if all had died in the plane crash of Oceanic 815. It had satisfied me more than this over-thought complex supernatural storytelling. But in the end it was very emotional... NB: Why should the smoke-monster be the Man-in-Black (MIB). Couldn't it be that Jacob killed him by throwing him in the light cave where the smoke monster or pure evil was hiding all along and copied the MIB just like fake-Lock in the series? In my opinion that should work also. In fact the MIB was eventually a child, betrayed by his fake mother, lied to, misinterpreted by his brother and just wanted to leave the island and go to his people. Imao he was definitely NOT evil.

1:20:30 I know that this video is from many years ago, but I will still give my opinion. I love that you have put a scientific theory that perhaps on the island the electromagnetism and the energy that is there and the dark matter caused changes at quantum levels and at the level of atoms when it generated the smoke monster, keeping its atoms united by consciousness, a unique place on earth with those levels. I like the scientific aspect and it reminds me of that man of science or man of faith...

I don't think that was the Smoke Monster. It can't leave the island.

Aaron isn't exactly three years old yet in the flashforward. He was probably 2 to 3 months away from his 3rd birthday. April Parker was portraying a doctor, not a nurse. "The Asians and the scientists"? Dude, seriously? You couldn't name the Kwons by their names?

Sorry but my number one is Sawyer and Juliet! Then Desmond and Penny, then JIn and Sun. I liked Claire and Charlie but the actors did not have great chemistry unfortunately. Coming in fourth is a couple that doesn't get talked about Richard and Isabel. Last Locke and Helen. Oh and Sayid and Nadia. This is hard! I also like Daniel and Charlotte even though they weren't a real couple but I have a soft spot for unrequited love : )

I'm watching LOST again, 4th time, and this is the third time I've watched this recap. Thanks for this, it is so well done, I really appreciate it. For most things popular, I see them when they come out due to interest, but I usually need some time to pass, then I can revisit it, and see it better for being what it is, and not what I want it to be.

Lost TV series will always have a special place in my heart & soul. I was a young student when it started airing, my Mum still had dial up then 😅 and I used to try and load the Lost experience web pages, it was tedious. By the finale I was living in my own house, had a son and was watching it the comfort of my own home. I still have this hit of nostalgia whenever I think of Lost.

LOST...an absolute fucking waste of time that had no real plan, lied about what it was about and the head writers fucked off to greener pastures and left window licking morons to stick the landing....THEY FUCKING DIDINT STICK THE LANDING. what a fucking disgrace of a show that lied to us over and over again.

I feel like the fight between Jack and Locke in an erupting volacno is the ending this show deserved. Something you'd never forget. They should have stuck to their original plan. Just look at the volcano eruption scene in The Lord of the RIngs. It would have been such an epic theatrical ending.
@user-hu9vi7nk1l7 ай бұрын
"So in theory it may be able to be deactivated if they can find the control room for it (which would be another hatch somewhere yet undetected)." So clear why they chose this theory as their favourite. This is exactly what happens in the final episode.

fun fact: landing strips/runways are numbered for their position on the Unit Circle - measured clockwise starting at Heading 0° at magnetic north. you just remove the last digit. so a runway facing perfectly South would be called Runway 18 as it’s 180° from the magnetic north. Runway 23 would be anywhere from 230°-239°.

Wait, *761* ??? That means there were over seven hundred candidates total? Or are these numbers just assigned randomly? We know, the dial in The Lighthouse has only 360 names. That's less than half. Or maybe we can assume, Jacob could just wipe the dial and write down a different name to a degree and with the cave wall he couldn't. I don't know. I just naturally assumed, there had been 360 potential candidates at max total.....😅
