hey mate could you confirm if youre still using the standard m52 cam trays with the m54 intake cam? I heard it needs some modification to fit. Mine seems to fit fine just with the shortened vanos gear, but I'm worried as all the forums say the trays need to be grinded down.

Hi pamo, do the o rings need to be square? Are the ones from bm squared or just where they have been compressed for so long?? Cheers

Had a B12 kit on an E90, just over 4 years with around 20,000 miles on them. 1 front leaked and 1 rear broken spring. The rust on all 4 corners with the shocks + springs, just not upto scratch

I have had the Koni FSD for eight years, nearly sixty thousand kms, on one of the worst possible roads anywhere - in Mumbai. We also have very very heavy rains here, and my BMW F30 320d SportLine (with the BMW MPPK and a remapped Mspec gearbox) is driven not only on these horrible city roads, but also goes on the occasional long inter - city drives ( totalling about 1500 kms on each trip). I am now changing the FSD to its current equivalent - the Koni Special Adaptive, soon. This has to be imported, customs duty paid and will be an expensive buy. I will put these on, because 1. I had a good experience with the FSD; 2. My friends who drove the car were happy with it; 3. The technology is such that it is equally effective on fast, high frequency compressions (stability, firmness) and on slower, low frequency compressions (compliant ride). Wanted to share my experience. Thank you.

Hey Pamo. I have an oil pressure and temp gauge pod that I want to move to the Gauge.S. I have the wire that runs from the oil distribution block into the cabin and connects to the existing pod style gauge. How can I get that data to show to Gauge.S?

Had the B12 on my last car, and after 12 years, 220000KM they were still in good condition and without leaks. Did still handle great. Even after driving my new car for couple of weeks, and then the old one again, I was surprised how good in felt in compairison to the new. I would buy them again without a doubt! I am surprised about the qualety of yours. And yes, the paint on mine was bad after 12 years. But also was the paint on subframe of my car.

35,000 mi isn't even a good life for an OEM shock definitely not for a Bilstein. Bilstein have a lifetime warranty when you buy them aftermarket here in the United States. I'd be sending that back and getting a new one unfortunately sounds like you might have got a bad batch. The warranties longer here because they have to keep up with the competition many shock absorbers offer a lifetime warranty in the United States plus in the United States we drive farther and the whole Northern half of our country is pretty much what's called the rust belt where we get snow quite a bit in the winter and they put salt on the roads which makes things rot out faster

I suppose by the video only the rear ones failed ? One thing i was thinking was if u used dust covers? Maybe dust particles worn the seal faster? Just an idea. I was really looking forward to buy same kit for my e36 328i coupe but now im worried 😅 My car came with tatechnix coilovers and they are totaly hazard to drive. Car is jumping in air going over potholes. So i tought these will be my future ones, but i guess ill look for some different brand 🫤

Hey Pamo, thankfully because of ur video i had a plan where to start to look after the water leaking spot. I got so mad after months looking for it to leak. Everytime when i went with my e36 cabrio into the washing station there were no visible water leak. But when it stayed a night out in the rain my footwell was full as shit. then one day i noticed behind the dashboard a little few drops. My guess is that the reason why i newer saw it dripping straight in the footwell, is that the drainholes let a part of the water out and the spongy material behind the climabox soaked itself first of all full with water before it let it down. Thanks to you i got a way to start.

also i dont know if u still got the car, but did the waterleak stop completly in ur car?

I recently completely rebuilt the suspension on my D3 XC60 at 155,000 miles. All removed parts were original, and I replaced with B4's, and Lemfors springs. Must say that the car is transformed ( as one would expect), but I did notice a small difference between the two rear shocks when I preconditioned them. One was easier to compress ( 5 strokes each ), so perhaps there is a quality control issue. I also noticed that the Bilstein stickers had been 'thrown' on at any old angle, and were the only indication that the shocks were from Bilstein. I purchased all parts from Autodoc btw.

Here in the US, I have rear B4's and one of them started making an internal clunking sound after less than 1,000kms. Warranty was useless, they told me I should tighten the bolts properly. They know they can get away with that game. I dont have time to argue with them, it costs me money to do that. The mounts are all tightened to specs and I am not a novice mechanic. I replaced the B4's and the noise is gone. To hell with the warranty. Bilsteins are absolute garbage and I will NEVER buy anything bilstein again. Not to mention the morons in their warranty department.

We just brought one of these things. After a very vigorous test drive and all it sat there and ran sweet as a nut. Get the bastard home and it has a nasty nasty rattle. I have been trolling the net to try and find the problem and I think watching this I just may have found it. You mention those plastic keepers breaking and I have found an odd piece of plastic circular thing. Then you show the collet it holds in place and that odd bit of plastic would hold that I'm picking. I guess I'm ripping all the shit apart tomorrow. FUCK! I was so careful not to buy a lemon too. At least we got it cheap. We will still come out on top but its not the quick turn and burn I hoped it would be.
