The fact that you make these videos so much fun and enjoyable to watch really makes it even more worthwhile to watch be it for my own E36 or whatnot. We're lucky to have people like you on this site helping the rest of the builders/enthusiasts out there all over the world. Greetings from the same desert as your EG. 8)

Thanks for sharing - I intend refurbishing my Toyota 2AZFE Denso injectors the same way, and this video showed the process well. My only contribution would be to lube the o-rings with petrol before re-inserting in the fuel rail, instead of rubber grease as suggested, and to have a container ready to capture the cleaner spraying through the injectors.
@ManSeeksCivic3 жыл бұрын
Lubing the oring with petrol will dry long before you try to fit them making the rubber super clean and very hard to install. Rubber grease or silicone grease sparingly makes the install not only easy, but stops damage to the rings on installation. As for the container - 100% agree, but it also evaporates almost instantly.

just wanna say thank you for all your videos ! especially e36 videos. they have been very helpful. they also make me feel better about my e36 😂its a true rust bucket. thanks to your videos i know how the rust needs to be fixed the right way. by that i mean cut and weld. not grind and bondo . hopefully my e36 will be rust free by the end of the year

A very helpful little video, those baskets are really hard to get out thanks for giving me the encouragement and they are quite expensive for the kit here in Australia at $20 per unit, I’m sure my little Getz Will be blasting up the road when I get them back in the car, regards Brad

Great video! Gonna try this on my vauxhaul corsa B. Swapped a 2.0L x20xev from an astra in it but it runs waaaaaay to rich. MAF sensor keeps giving me good data but the O2 sensor is all over the place, plus it smells like a lawnmower. Maybe this will help it run better before I go out and replace the O2 sensor.

Engine coolant temperature sensor failing often causes rich running on vaux engines ive had many over the years

Great video, thanks. Have you got a part number for that injector repair kit? Cheers
@ManSeeksCivic Жыл бұрын
Im sorry I don't but if you get the part number from the side of the injectors and use that in Google you should find a kit.

great video man, very informative. however, i was wondering if it's possible to just use direct current with the connector and a drill battery instead of using a car battery and switch to spray out the carb cleaner? has anyone else tried this out?
@ManSeeksCivic3 жыл бұрын
Keep the voltage low - around 9v and keep it momentary so the solenoid isn't damaged when you are cleaning 👍

Dont put the screw in too far. Im pretty sure i fucked up something in my 6 injectors because i stuck it in too far. The injector doesn't close. It just sprays without even having power run through it

This is pointless. Gas is just as good of a solvent as brake cleaner.

You sound like you have no idea what your talking about. Aside from the number 1 solvent which is fking water gasoline is just as effective even more effective in some cases and anything that chlorinated brake clean will clean gas will clean

I wonder why i can use brake clean aa starting fluid. Hmm still a mystery i guess. Moron
