The only suggestion I’d make is to get a real drum throne, so you are the right height and position. 😊

I just got these for the same reason. I am an amateur self learning drummer and own a really cheap electric set as well. But, I just got these to put in my ambulance rv to practice and maybe make some music with a portable digital four track and guitar and bass, for something to do in the winter months when I plan a couple month trip to Quartsite AZ (snowbird paradise) during the winter here in the US. Maybe someone will need a drummer or set like these at a jam session?

Hi there. In one of your videos think on your music one. I asked you a question, as I've been learning so much on my acoustic guitar. But you never got back. The question was, I love workshop songs ets. As in Christian. Like you said you use to do the music in the church where you use to go. Question anyway I an elvis fan. He sang , ( let us pray ) i love that song ls when I use to go to church. Do you know the chords to it for me. As i want to learn it. Also , the way you did it in your van. You could do some praise songs in the van. You could you do that one for me . Let us pray. Bit of a learning chords to help people and me. Hopefully you can understand me. Id appreciate it if can help in anyway. Hope you don't think I'm daft lol. Hope you get back please. Could be in your next video if possible..

Nive review and tones, mate!! I've had a 1912 cab for many years, and I'm still enjoying it immensely. Although I did change out the speaker for a really nicely played in V30 (an early 2000s one!), which opened up the range a fair bit 🤣🤣🤣 Nothing wrong with the G12B-150 as such, but in a comparison it's a bit dark sounding. Not that that's bad... But when used in a rehearsal with a loud drummer every bit of mids /mid-highs does help 😜👍 In actual fact I'm picking up another 1912 (original speaker), and will be using them side by side as a nicely portable 2x12!!

Changing speaker makes lot of difference. Each speaker sounds very different, and it's not improvement in general. It's changing sound of amplifire. Amongst other heads, my only combo is HB Tube 15. And it's incredible combo, sounding better than lot of much more expensive brand amps. I tried V30 in it but it doesn't impressed me so much as a Creamback. But the best sounding for me is with WGS ET65 speaker. But it's ofc subjective.

So you normally break 1-3 strings during a gig, but the Stringsavers suck because you broke 1 string in 2 gigs...

It's unfair to say it doesn't sound like a flute when the pedal isn't TRYING to sound like a flute, it's sounding like the flute tape on a Mellotron. I teensy bit of research before making a review wouldn't be too hard, would it? You give the impression you've never heard of the thing.

I've been a huge Cardiacs fan for many a year and was curious about the lime green guitar Tim Smith used to play. Had a look on ebay a couple of years ago and picked up an '82 thunder I for £380, fully expecting to have to rewire the thing and fit some swanky humbuckers etc. When it arrived and I played it... holy moly. Love. Didn't have to do a thing to it. It immediately joined my trusty old Strat as joint number one. Gorgeous range of tones and a very well constructed guitar indeed. If there's one good thing to come of the hyper-inflated prices of certain vintage guitars (see Fenders and Gibsons) it's that the likes of Westones and other Matsumoku-built guitars fly under the radar and are very affordable. More often than not they are lovely instruments well worth your attention.

Time passes. Are you still using this or moved to something else (The Artist Tweed Tone20R for example)? I just got the VOX VT40X (Dec 2024) I also thought I would keep it clean and use my pedals... but the loaded effects are like a huge bag of liqourice allsorts! I set the VOX AC30 option as a starting point. Yummo. I got the footswitch for loading up EIGHT presets. Meantime, I'm running my BD2, the WONDERLAND chorus pedal and a looper through the front end. The BD2 seems to give it a bit more grunt. It's probably available in the onboard preset library but I haven't looked there yet. The WONDERLAND is curiouser and curiouser. I think I will hook that up through the line-in on my vocals amp (Laney 65w) for some dreamy vocal harmonics. The looper is for practice. Thanks for the video user review. Much appreciated.

You really think that fast playing is good playing?? You play your thing no metter what is your backtrack doing. Like two people in fight...not one can exist beside the other...really painfull to listen. No creativity in your jaming, no melody...you just playing your stuff no metter what, and then you stop playing. Thats what you do. Take this as advice and some good healthy critics....play some melodies and more fluently and more sensible. Dont play fast all the time just because you can. Its boring and twitchy...its painfull to listen. Slow down give some emotion....speed in smal doses...and for God sake listen to backtrack...dont be in quarrel with it. Or dont...as you wish.

Silver is a very very soft metal- and that is why they don't make frets out of it. Putting enough heat on a fret to melt the silver solder is going to damage the wood. And silver solder won't adhere to some metals used for frets. I didn't watch the video, but the headline screams- BAD IDEA!

Had a version 2, sold it to get a Flambeau acoustic ( limited run George Louden design out of the S.Yari factory ) while i occasionally miss the Westone, the Flambeau will have to be pried out of my dead cold fingers.

I looked at a review of an earlier one and the bridge is different. It is sloped at the back so the strings don't come into contact with it.

Our Street Ex is buzzing how do we stop it? We were told it could be interference from other electrical sources close by, or the socket has too many appliances plugged in to the extension lead, is this correct?

The place you have here, I'm pretty sure there's space for a small electric kit, or even a basic busker kit like the Pearl Compact Traveller. Honestly, that's way better for both practice and recording. These air drums, they're more of a gimmick. My cousin had a pair of these sticks, and he had a hard time with them to the point where he gave up drums, then I got them, and I had similar issues to him - like you said you can't see what you're hitting, and often the position of the sticks affects where the instruments are so you're mostly stuck guessing, the app that comes with them is a mess, and the sticks and pads lose connection very often. I'm not keen on aeroband tbh. They seem to have a thing of "foxing" things that aren't broken and making instruments over complex and techy and gimmicky. Let's not forget the absolutely abysmal plastic guitar they made for £599.

1) did you change the nut to tusq nut 2) stew Mac is telling their customers to measure the saddles on your guitar before ordering ( I did and I have to get a different spec saddles for my telecaster and stratocaster) 3) get rid of the Squire, and step up your guitar 😊

A few people have pointed out the bridge string contact proplem. I raised to eylets 6mm to make sure they clear the bridge. They shouls not be in contact with it.. Have 2, keeping them. Modded one to split coil, worth doing.
