Hi! Thank you for your review! I have also bought this product around the time you posted this video and I found more time to play it these days (I was busy and gone). I had a serious issue with the MIDI functionality, but in the end I figured out it was because of the cable, it seems like it was not transferring data. After solving this with a cable, I found your video and I wanted to try placing the module in between the pedals to check whether the latency decreased in Cakewalk (this is my DAW). Now I notice that the blue LED for bluetooth does not turn on anymore, but the module is charging. Did you have this problem, too? Maybe it got burnt or something like that? Note that I haven't dropped it and there was no mechanical shock to it.

Good to see you're still enjoying those pocket drums Brent. I sold my acoustic set years ago, I still have my electric drums but they're buried inside my shed; It's been a long time since I've played them. Even getting my guitar out these days is rare...motivation issues at the moment or perhaps everyday life just gets in the way sometimes.

Yea mate it is not a bad bit of kit. It has its kinks but totally usable as a tool.

Just one question, it's been 2 months since your review. Any additional info for a guy with no midi or laptop. For a bloke that could just about hold a rhythm as a kid. Wanting to remember what he knew and learn a little more?

Hi ya I still use it as a practice tool. No need fir a computer just plug in and go. I still recommend these.

Cheers, you addressed every concern I had reading through the available info. Bottom line, you gave me reason to pick a set up. - 30 years ago I attempted to learn at weekend drum lessons and sticks in my back pocket. No bloody good. This will take me from false beginner to a happy auld man! Cheers friend!
