I wonder if anyone else notices this major mistake in this scene. The guy sitting right behind Tommy, slightly to his left suddenly changes to a goofy looking guy for just a few seconds. At 3:04 goofy guy suddenly appears, almost like he's in the wrong movie.

It is chilling how silent everyone is while he's doing this. Both him singing and the silence of the audience all added together makes this just such a memorable happening. I don't really even hear the audience shifting around. Tiny little noises every once in awhile but not the usual noise you'd hear

There had been a lot of brilliant musicianship preceding Dr. Stanley (AKus/JD, etc.) but Ralph was special. He brought church to a hockey arena -- for Christians, atheists, and all others.
