Original radio did not have carplay or Bluetooth for music. This radio also had a better screen and much better sound. And that's just the basic stuff. And most electronics are made in china. Pioneer is an older reputable company not a random amazon company.

Yes but I reccomend using a processor to get the best sound. Honestly a new radio is probably cheaper than a processor.

If connecting in the glove box it's a direct plugin. If connecting behind the radio you need to connect a ground wire.

How do you find my $299.99 price outrageous? Lets say you buy a cheap compact amplifier for $100. This has a bult in dsp with a microphone to tune your audio system and improve the sound and not just make it louder. That's another $200 at least. Then you're getting a custom harness that plugs right into the factory wiring. I thinks it's actually an amazing price for what it does and how easy it is to install. Did you maybe not understand what it was?

@@stuff_i_liked1815Without the DSP its a $200 amp from a brand name or $100 from a no name brand. You cant get this out of any setup name brand or ebay brand for this price.

@@Enfig I put aftermarket speakers in my kids Tiguan. But still lacks some loudness but it’s loud enough I guess but feels like I could get more bass out of it. Would this help? I know I’m still better off with a sub but I would still probably need rca for even that.

@@stuff_i_liked1815 My recommendation is always amp for power and loudness first then speakers for clarity. Then sub if you're still not happy. We are looking into under seat subs. Most people do not need subs after doing speakers and amp.

The same amp fits most newer vw as long as you don’t have a factory amlifier. We also have plug and play speaker kits. But we are still figuring out those applications.

@ I don’t understand who decided to put such bad speakers and a poor audio system in this car. Even my dad’s third-generation Prius (without JBL) sounds much better. I’ve never had a car with an audio system this bad.

@@Kobrsss8 If it makes you feel any better I worked on a 2023 Porsche 911 with a similar audio system. All Audi/Porsche/VW with base audio sound horrible. Thats why we make the plug and play amplifier and plug and play speaker kits.

I'm pretty sure they are crossed over inside the radio. That's why our plug and play amplifier has a built in processor.

The headphone jack comes from our interface.

Most amplifiers have speaker in so you just have to tap into the harness we sent for signal to the amp for your subwoofer.

The camera installation became too complicated to film and I never finished it.

If you have a different radio some don't have a port.

I think only amplified cars have tweeters. Components are usually better. But cars that don't have tweeters don't have a good location for them without modifying the door. Most people are happy with the amplified systems so I have not see one yet.

I think this was for a ridgeline. I know many cars have this style overhead light but we don't have a good list for this mic.

It's a weird application. Most of the apps I have seen cant talk to the amplifier because the app wasn't written for it. I'd also like to know what other app can do this to recommend to my customers.
