i think i finally understand why i struggled with algebra so much as a kid. algebra has no "solution" meaning most of the time, you are getting an answer that still FEELS like it isnt actually solving anything numerically speaking. its much more abstract than finding out like 7 minus 5. 3x means nothing to me as an answer to a problem in math, like you wouldnt ever get that as an answer to a "real world" question like oh there are 3x cars over there. or there are x-4 cars over there. i need to stop searching for that finite solution to really start to grasp algebra better
