Nice job on your progress so far. I'm laughing because I'm in IT too and you keep speaking my thoughts out loud. I know your way ahead now. I'm on my second playthrough. First one I used the Fleetstar a lot not realizing the amazing potential of the White Westernstar. You can put the crane on there and use a semi trailer or if you have to pull a regular trailer or both! That's 8 slots you can do. You rarely have to unhook the semi trailer to load. Just stack the freight on top of the first piece and then pack and unpack or vice versa the freight. It will automatically sort the freight on the trailer. Keep doing until the trailer is full. The Western star is such a better semi and can really go through a lot. It's also very stable. Don't know how many times I've rolled the fleetstar. Occasionally, you may have to unhook the trailer to grab one piece. Just use your crane and pinch it tight in the fifth wheel while you bring it back to your trailer. With the blue trailers, you can carry 6 items. 5 in the trailer and one on top of the first one being held down by the crane. Really looking forward to watching the rest of your series.

I know I'm late to the party, but when you finally were able to flip the P16 over at 21:40 I was celebrating for you! Even started clapping as I just flipped mine over but left it sit there. You worked so hard. I was talking to the screen, "go over here and winch it from that way"... and then you did it. lol. It was a team effort. I'm really enjoying your videos. I'm doing a Hard mode series myself right now and I'm at roughly the same spot. Just hit level 8. Good plan to get all watchtowers, tasks and upgrades while fixing bridges, roads etc. for all the maps in the region. Then you can plan multiple loads of different stuff and optimize task work. I have about 1200 hours into the game and got about half way through the regions last playthrough. Can't wait to watch you explore the rest of the maps.

Isn’t it better to “open” all the maps first, vehicles, upgrades, etc and then do contacts? I thought Atlay did that before.

This is by far my favorite SR hard mode series by far. The reason being that it doesn't seem like you're going into knowing exactly what you need to do like so many others "perfect playthrough" style

it still somehow feel as cheating. don't get me wrong, it is your game and none of my business, but despite paying for depoyment and fuel, you are still getting access to the truck that original players didn't had access to when they worked trough Alaska. As such, when playing Hard more I would not go to the zone that is from later DLC than the one I'm currently at. But that is just my personal opinion

I think implementing logging missions this way as a Season 3 update was kind of an miss. I understand they wanted to add bit more content for the DLC price, but maybe they should place only like two shorter loging missions instead of 4 long ones and add two more into a main contracts (for example Island lake you have to unlock lumbermill and then you can get planks for bridges), they couldinstead add two long logs mision between those two or something and add one logging trailer into a map ( I would be fine with lower reward in that case) this way, delivering like 20 loads of longs is just repetitive and I'm not even sure now if you have to finish basic contracts in Michigan or if these are paralel

If I played this way, I would probably try to use Twinsteer for this part of the contract, I think having a fixed chassis for 4 slots would make it much more stable, and I think it may be why you actually got acces to that truck in this map

I came across a video of an abandoned F-750, used by an older gentleman, then parked and left, no reasons why it was left, I'm assuming health issues though. Interesting thing though, it was used for bringing a few logs from his lumberyard home where he used them for various purposes. I had a logging crane and a flat bed, which just reminded me of this game lol

I'm just trying to figure out if the Day-Night is global or savebased, because it caught my attention in the video, but I can't find it Everywhere I go it is about skiping, setting it up, changing, modding it out and stuff. Does anybody really know how it works?

It looks almost like your P16 had the handbreak on, was nose stuck on a rock or something similar which wasn't allowing it to move at all, not even rock.

After the invasion of ukraine I've seen quite a few videos of russia. Especially the channel 1420, he talks to russians about different issues. The rural parts of russia look like this, a dystopian wasteland. It's what comes from all the money being funneled into moscow. So the devs did a great job of representing a poor rural area in russia.

That makes me wonder, if you moved all your trucks into the garage and reloaded the game, would it reset the glitches or would they remain?

Wasn't this the same map you brought an underpowered Ford to? Now you skimp on the white western star? Might want to learn that lesson before you take it on in full mate. That being said, there were a few occasions where the white western star looked almost like the center of gravity shifted upwards on some slopes, and you got suddenly way more tippy. There are mud holes that seem to have more "stickiness" to them as well. Earlier maps I didn't notice that, most stuff looked so close to real that I often forgot I was watching a game. But these last two maps especially have had stuff that tickled my brain and broke that emersion. Stuff like those titanium roots.

From what I've heard from other content creators, it's like a marathon, you have to pace yourself so you don't get burnt out. If you get annoyed at a game, switch to another one for a day or so, let your community know, and they are usually cool with it. If you need to reduce the number of videos posted, let your community know why and they are usually cool with it. YT viewers are usually pretty cool about stuff like that, Twitch is a different story, but that also kinda depends on your personality and who you attract. I've seen A LOT of newer CCs who think they need to release a lot of videos to get the algorithm to work for them, then get burnt out, and just quit. But staying on a consistent schedule actually seems to work better for the algorithm. I think YT tends to notice things like viewers getting sad/annoyed/frustrated at CCs who quit in the middle of a series, that's why they start to really promote you after you have posted a few hundred videos. Can't remember the number, but it's over 200 I think. From what I've heard from other CCs, the worst part about recording gaming videos, is you never really are free to just play. If you decide to try a game out and really enjoy it, you always worry if you should be making videos about it. It's a tough balancing act for sure. You started off wisely though, and are getting the benefits.

Aircraft aluminum is extremely light, but yeah, that's not enough weight. Also, when you have rough terrain, especially with limited equipment, you use whatever tactics you can. I've helped my grandpa chain up all sorts of stuff and dangle it from the bucket of a tractor and move it around the farm. He did it a lot with farming equipment, but also engines, scrap metal, even a small trailer once. So don't feel like it's cheesing the game, it's a viable strategy.

I actually think they made inredible job with NG+ the fact that I logged into Wreckfest after a year and suddenly had 12 DLC vehicles in garage was always pet peeve of mine. I would probably play NG+ with Hardcore settings, the only thing I would change (if the option is there) would be to be able to sell empty trailers for, I don't know, 25% of their price? I mean realistically, if you can sell stock suspension of a broken ass truck you just found in a swamp, you should be able to sell second hand trailer for at least something. I mean they can be useful to have on hand, but when you get to a point where you have five flatbed trailers, you probably can sell two of them
