I have found that pride can be sneaky and sometimes I don’t even realize it’s pride because the intention is good, but when I get fixed on having it only my way or not at all it can kind of clues me in. 😊 God bless you! 💕

That is a good question 😊 I do think there is a value to getting the books, at least for me. I’ll tell you why…even though I’ve watched and rewatched many of Fr’s talks, I personally can’t remember it all and sometimes it’s easier to reference a book, rather than try and remember which talk I heard something in and trying to find the exact spot in the video he mentioned it.

Yes, print the list! Good reference to look at when watching his videos about the virtues. Regarding the books, yes, so helpful as a reference. Especially his Introduction to Mental Health psychologist book. It’s amazing.

You know, I have felt and sometimes continue to feel the same way but God can work through us and we are at his service 😊 sometimes we don’t realize just how much valuable information, resources, thoughts and insights we have that we can share…until we start doing it and getting feedback that it is making an impact. You should definitely give it a try. 🤗 it is scary but it is worth it. What helped me overcome my fear for KZbin was a skill share course on becoming a KZbinr. 😊 My first video was less than two minutes and so embarrassing and my first blog post was only a few sentences but what I decided was to just share what I could in the moment and not wait until it was perfect. Quantity and practice will improve quality.

Ripperger and his team have inspired so many Catholics to grow deeper in their faith and to learn about so many topics that were so difficult to grasp and understand (Thomastic theology, virtues, spiritual warfare, etc.) or even to find resources for before coming across his content on KZbin, and in his books. I can relate to so much of what you said. 😊 I also felt the same way before learning about this virtue list. I just had a vague idea that it was virtuous to be kind and self-giving, etc, but when I found this list I was ecstatic because I felt like I had landed on a gold mine with the exact information on how to become a saint! It’s was a concrete way that I could measure my spiritual growth and progress, strengthens and weaknesses. I am also working on Temperance….and Fortitude. I feel like being a parent really provides an opportunity to test us and give us plenty of practice to work on these. 😊 thank you for commenting
