Oh goodness Wonderful!! I’ve been wanting to print this list out. I literally thought there were seven virtues total until like last year. I was so ignorant! And learning that made me happy! It made me happy because I learned a real concrete way to grow in holiness. Thank you for this beautiful video. As a parent I need to grow in temperance. We and our families will all benefit when we grow in virtue.

I can relate to so much of what you said. 😊 I also felt the same way before learning about this virtue list. I just had a vague idea that it was virtuous to be kind and self-giving, etc, but when I found this list I was ecstatic because I felt like I had landed on a gold mine with the exact information on how to become a saint! It’s was a concrete way that I could measure my spiritual growth and progress, strengthens and weaknesses. I am also working on Temperance….and Fortitude. I feel like being a parent really provides an opportunity to test us and give us plenty of practice to work on these. 😊 thank you for commenting

Thank you for this!!!! We use the virtue curriculum from the Dominican Sisters that you recommended, and we love it!!!! When you said the Fr. Lassance book, did you mean the missal? Thank you again!

I’m so glad to hear you are enjoying the virtues curriculum!!! Sorry I forgot to mention the name of the Fr. Lasance book! It called My Prayer Book: Happiness in Goodness and he talks about making a particular examination in the chapter about a rule of life. 😊 You can find it on page 195 in this pdf version: www.catholickingdom.com/s_Library/Books/P/My_Prayer_Book_Lasance_OCR_CK.pdf

Yes, print the list! Good reference to look at when watching his videos about the virtues. Regarding the books, yes, so helpful as a reference. Especially his Introduction to Mental Health psychologist book. It’s amazing.
