Agatha doesn't remember the names of non-witches, she doesn't care enough to. The only reason why she could get Tommy name right in the end because she means something to the only person she really cares about, Billy. She always liked Billy since he was a little boy. Also Nicky just died, that's all.

Billy geninunely he was William Kaplan, he didn't remember he was Billy Maximoff. He only really picture it together, Ralph gave the summary what basically less than half a week life before then. The mother he refers is Mrs. Kaplan, that's he only mother he really knows right now.

This show takes place three years after Wandavision! At the end of Wandavision, Wanda took Agatha’s power and trapped her in Westview under a spell that wiped her memory and kept her in her “nosy neighbor” Agnes TV persona. Everyone else in Westview (Herb, “Mrs. Hart”/Sharon) was freed three years ago, but Agatha has been trapped “spouting nonsense” thinking she’s Agnes the whole time. Then Wanda died (supposedly, in Multiverse of Madness), the spell distorted, and Teen (Joe Locke) and Rio (Aubrey Plaza) were able to help break Agatha out of it. By the end of episode 1, Agatha is totally freed from Wanda’s spell. But she is still without power. Wanda and Vision’s house isn’t there anymore because it never technically existed. In Wandavision, Wanda created the house in the Hex on the foundation of the lot she and Vision had bought before his death. When Wanda took down the Hex the house disappeared, leaving only the foundation. Which as we see in episode 2, the Westview residents have since vandalized. They are understandably not Wanda fans. If you don’t have time to rewatch Wandavision, it might still be helpful to watch a short recap, as some stuff that happened in that show will become very relevant later on! :)

No there isn't a book from Nick's perspective but there is a novella with a mixed pov of both Nick and Charlie and it's called Nick and Charlie. It takes place a year and a half after this episode.

You are correct it was Nick's mum that he confided in in the book but Olivia Coleman was not available to film this season so they had to substitute his aunty

Call me a romantic, but I genuinely love this movie; this along with Heartstopper and Young Royals, helped me come to terms with my bisexuality. I’ve read the book, the collection edition, and I’ve seen the deleted scenes which were amazing. I’m so excited for the sequel that’s coming!! Now all we need is a Broadway-West End bound musical. Just saying… 🇺🇸🇬🇧🏳️‍🌈❤️🤍💙🩷💜💙

Sounds are absolutely an acceptable reaction. I get the sense that Harry got a big lecture about homophobia from someone he respects when he got suspended, and that sunk into his behavior during the Paris trip. Remember Harry defended Nick from being teased about Charlie on the Eiffel Tower? Thanks for a great reaction.

When people like Ben are abusive then they improve and get their stuff together, they have to be better for the next person. They can’t expect to get the abused person back no matter how much the abuser loves them. And part of actually being a better person is understanding they hurt the one they love irretrievably by the behaviour that broke the relationship. They have to understand they have to let the one they love go completely, for all time. They have to make peace with loving and not being loved back. Thanks for a great emotional reaction. Sorry it was hard on you.

Charlie’s dad was so supportive in season 1, but it looks like his mum cuts off his dad from supporting Charlie every time. As for her, she may intend good parenting, but she really cuts him off emotionally. Charlie needed support to balance out seeing Nick and getting schoolwork done and she goes punitively hard instead of helping him find balance, and feeling good about that balance. Honestly no wonder his mental health issues are so bad. She may accept him being gay, but she obviously has no capacity for being emotionally supportive and I don’t think she could have helped him through the bullying in the past.

I didn’t think about it before, but since Tao is into all the serious and Indy/Arthouse films, it makes sense he has a way cooler room than everyone else. He’s got some really arty sensibilities and impulses despite being crap at art himself.

Hello Ashtyn, I have been waiting so long for all of your heartstopper reactions for season two to come along. thank you for doing them. I love your reactions and your sensitive viewpoints. I know some issues are difficult for many of us to see and to hear because they can be triggering, but it is good to watch them with someone else, even if you are thousands of miles away. thanks again for your time effort and obvious love for doing this. I hope to be able to watch season three with you as well.
