Hi, my problem is at 4:22, once the bracket is inserted in the TV, I can't really attach it with the downward movement. So I'm not confident I'm gonna be able to do it once the bracket is screwed to the wall and I'll be maneuvering the TV. I don't understand how you can do it so easily and I can't in any way! Any help?

Thank you for this video. It was very helpful. I’ve just realised my TV has a gap on one side, it looks like the installers didn’t follow the important step of loosing up the bracket. I heard the click on one side when I tried to push it into the wall but can’t seem to get it to happen on the other side. What should I do? Is there a way to get the mount to clip into place without removing the TV from the wall again? Many thanks

Hi. Try to wiggle the TV gently from side to side while pushing down on the side that has a gap. That usually helps.

Hi - are there any plaster walls (i.e, no available studs) that would be unsafe to mount a 77" Samsung TV onto? I have the 2024 s90d. Also, if there are available studs, would there be any possible way I could damage the studs by using them? Like, if the studs take too many screw holes and lose their integrity. I'm pretty uneducated about wall-mounting, so I might be asking some stupid questions. Thanks!
@oslotvmontering7 күн бұрын
Hi. There are no stupid questions when it comes to wall mounting TVs. As long as you use the same plugs I'm using in the video (Fischer duotec) you are safe on plaster. You cannot damage studs with screws, so using a stud is very safe. Enjoy your mounting!

The plugs may be strong... but the sheetrock over time will likely degrade. Lots of torque when pulled out to deal with wires. Anyway... just seems like you should have tried for at least one stud. I prob would have escorted you off the job

So I just got an open box that’s in perfect condition. It appears and it’s 65 inch. I don’t seem to have that same mounting kit. Does that kit come with your TV, did you buy it separately, or is it something specific to just the 75 inch. I have a TV mount already installed on my wall for my previous TV. I just wanted to make sure that this TV does not require something unique

To put only 4 screws instead of 8 for a TV of this size is not only unsafe but also impolite. The manufacturer includes 8 screws to reduce risks and specifies this in the manual for the worst-case scenario - and this is exactly the worst-case scenario: an empty, single-layer drywall...
@oslotvmontering11 күн бұрын
Hi. I use 4 screws because of safety. When mounting on plaster wall with no studs the distance between each plug needs to be no less than 10 centimeters. Because of the small size of the mount, I cannot use more than 4, and because of the plugs I'm using, 4 is enough. 2 of those can hold a person. 8 screws on this mount would make the plaster crack between the plugs, and that is not safe at all.
@anlemcsa1328 күн бұрын
@@oslotvmontering The load-bearing capacity of screws depends on the thickness of the drywall, ranging from approximately 17-72 kg. However, if the TV is left tilted (for cable management), the incline combined with increasing weight and its static load might cause unexpected issues. I couldn't find information about a 10 cm gap (hopefully, you don't mean 2x4 cm) in the official specifications, and I don't understand how this could adversely affect the mount? My second question is: why did you choose, contrary to the instructions, to drill into the elongated mounting slot of the plate, which has a larger circular entry point for the screw, and use a washer? 🤔
@oslotvmontering8 күн бұрын
@@anlemcsa132 I use the holes at the end because using those makes it easier to adjust the bracket in correctly position before fastening it to the wall. So just to avoid unnecessary mistakes, my costumers do not like unnecessary extra holes in the wall.
