Frankie served beyond his 12 month tour of duty. He was going home in June but kicked a landmine a month later on July 20th. Sent on a 4 week operation literaly days before going home. That's harsh!!!

The worst was the conscription. No choice. There was a lot of pride in not ditching the draft. But it was a war we should have never been in.
