I don't care how many problems you have. They will always be there. When you drink they don't go away. If anything you added more problems to your life. Great song. We have to be roll models to our children and grandchildren. 🙏🙏🙏 for all.

Love Rascal Flatts, thanks! I want to add a thought. Saying you still have a drink every now and then is good because your being honest. Even though you know that is a problem. A LOT of people cannot do that, without drinking the bottle dry. Lots of people do not stop to think about 90% of alcoholic's who drive drunk and are involved in a crash, kill other people's family members. PLEASE folks, be aware of what you are doing, ask for help.

First off I would like to say thank you for your honesty and sharing your story and understanding where drinking could take you is a big step and stay strong brother you can do this, i got your six. With that being said i just had my sober anniversary on August 9th and this marks 15 years since I've had a drink and I've never looked back now im not going to say that i haven't had the temptation but when I think about it I just think about all the progress that I have made moving forward and how i was back then and I think about my family and that i don't want to be that guy again, much love and respect and thank you for your service brother.

The water scenes and opening verse are referring to baptism. This is a spiritual song.

First thank u for sharing ur story with us. Im so glad u did RF love to see u delve into their crates. Ive been clean for 6 years now and its still a struggle, the hardest part was/is forgiving myself. The second hardest part is when u run into ppl u knew back then or hurt cuz of ur addiction and they judge u on who u were and dont/wont see uve changed.
